I do like this item, it has been used in my family since I can remember. There has always been a box of Morton Salt in my mother's kitchen since I was a small girl and I will have one in my kitchen for my grandchildren as they learn to cook and grow up. It has a good taste to add to vegetables, meat, or any thing you may be cooking.
This is the only salt that I buy. I put it on all my food my veggies, my meat follow the instructions because I don't want to bring my blood pressure up, but I will continue to buy this salt from here on out. I enjoy it I like it and I'm sure that if you ever try, you will also.
Price is more than off brand but I used to 25 cents for it back in the day. The container is same, the spout is the same. Now if they could just line the spout up at the edge it would be genius. We all know they aren't geniuses 😜
Mortan salt is the only salt that my family has ever used and now that's all i use in my home. It makes our food taste so much better and tastier. i highly recommend the mortan salt to anyone wanting good homemade cooked food.
I wanted apple fritters no cinnamon rolls. The rolls were okay but the apple fritters are amazingly good and there is a crunch to them. I like the cinnamon rolls they are soft and fresh with lots of flavor but the will never hold up to apple fritters. Both are soft tasty and fresh they are wonderful.
I find it quite strong , and I actually mix it with regular salt.. to Help me adjust to the flavor. it actually makes salt more salty. So you use less salt. lol though I just use a little sprinkle. on my veggies and meat . oh sometimes when I'm my own hydration water. for in which I will not explain for many reasons.. I hope this helped you.
Morton iodized salt is a classic pantry staple that seasons consistently and dissolves evenly. The 26 oz canister is a great size for everyday cooking and baking. Only gripe is the pour spout. It dispenses a little too freely and makes precise seasoning tricky. Otherwise, exactly what you need from a table salt.
I have always purchased Morton. For some reason salt seems to be thinner and a little powdery?? Maybe it was just this box. I really do love the taste and will continue buying anyway!
Delivery times kept changing, along with no show of USPS delivery truck, Had to keep calling UPS which only had a automated system line that was of no help .I kept giving the tracking number and all I could get was that my package was on the UPS TRUCK with no show to my Address. After I had to keep trying to find my package Order contastly calling a week later my package arrived because it was delivered to a wrong location!!!!
I don't love this salt. It might taste fine and the price is cheap, but the pouring experience is honestly annoying. It doesn't come out smoothly or steadily. You know when you try to pour into a measuring spoon and nothing comes out… so you shake a bit harder and suddenly too much spills everywhere? That's exactly what happens here, and it gets frustrating during cooking. I'd rather pay a little more for salt that pours clean and consistent, even if the taste is the same. It works—but the container makes it harder than it should be.
