Morton Tender Quick Meat Cure, Curing Salt for Meat, Poultry & Game, 2 lb

15 ml per lbs ground red meat, cooked at 175F for 7 to 8 hours, makes a good summer sausage and lasts a very long time. I think they could sell it a little cheaper per oz and still profit, but it's affordable and high quality, it can difficult to obtain in some parts of the states and impossible in some other countries.

This curing salt is hard to find, we make beef salami at Christmas time every year. We ordered this and it was delivered in 2 days and we now have our salami in the fridge. It is a must for our recipe and I am glad it got here so quickly.

Just what I needed. Didn't like having to pay for shipping, but no stores carry this anymore. Worth it overall.

Poor packaging, was almost open since it comes in only dense paper packs. Should have been boxed. Instead of bubbly wrap envelope

The packaging was the issue, Hoping the product itself will not be affected . It looks like it's been handled roughly for sometime. It appears old and like it could start leaking salt at many locations. I will need to put the contents in another container for storage.

It should be ZERO stars!!! I ordered 2 bags of the curing salt. Both bags had slits and salt poured out into the packaging. The bags looked like they had traveled around the world and handled by crowds of people. Disgusting. I didn't get a refund because I had nothing to send back!! I didn't think of taking a photo prior to dumping it in the garbage.

item arrived looking like it's been in a warehouse for years and years. so worn and damaged looking can't find expiration date

I only received 3 of the 4 packages. One was cancelled. I don't know where those came from, but the 3 bags I received were already open and had spilled all over the package and probably on the shipping truck. There is salt everywhere!
