Mosquito Dunks Biological Mosquito Control, Kills Mosquitoe Larvae 6 Pack

I was a little hesitant on the purchase at first because I didn't want the plants in my pond to die. After a lot of research, I read that not only do these mosquito dunks kills the larvae but isn't harmful to plants at all. I have a small patio pond so one chuck did the trick and no larvae in sight. It's been 3 weeks and I still haven't seen 1 mosquito larvae.

Our garden fountain was literally crawling with wriggling little mosquito larvae - not just gross, but who wants them to grow up and bite you!? Popped one of these dunks in and no more little wriggling things. Awesome!!! We have pets (and wildlife around) so glad this was safe for animals.

I think it's working okay. I watched a video on how to set up a bucket to help reduce mosquitos in my yard %26 hopefully neighboring yards. I just have to remember to add water to the bucket when the weather gets hot as well as refresh the dunks when it rains %26 there's too much water, causing an overflow.

I take a small piece, crush it up and dump it in the water. After it sits for a while and then I use the water on my plants, it seems to work perfectly. I will buy this again the next time I run out.

These seem to work really well. The thing is: you have to stay on top of treating the water. This really had a huge impact on the amount of fungus gnats i have. Didn't hurt my plant at all. Great product!

I've been using them as directed soaking for 24 hours in water for the amount of water that it says on the package but I haven't really noticed the difference in mosquitoes and fungus gnats in the house plants but I'm going to give it a few more weeks

Not sure if this is the real reason but we have noticed a large drop in mosquitos. The only things is we can't tell if its truly from these dunks since the water doesn't show anything but we think it has an impact. They don't really kick in until after week because the water needs to lose the chemicals from the tap, and some organic material is needed (but don't add any yourself, let it happen naturally). We thought the dunks would dissolve, they don't, and that we would be able to see some killed larvae or eggs but you don't. We tried other methods, and still do, but if the only difference this year is adding these dunks to small jars and buckets of water around our perimeter, and noticed a difference, then we can't dismiss they aren't attributing to that.

Too many mosquitoes this year and they're aggressive I have bought sprays. I have bought lights and now I have bought these dunks. The state has sprayed. Maybe if we could get rid of half of them nobody would carry away the trees.
