Mosquito Dunks Biological Mosquito Control, Kills Mosquitoe Larvae 6 Pack

I was a little hesitant on the purchase at first because I didn't want the plants in my pond to die. After a lot of research, I read that not only do these mosquito dunks kills the larvae but isn't harmful to plants at all. I have a small patio pond so one chuck did the trick and no larvae in sight. It's been 3 weeks and I still haven't seen 1 mosquito larvae.

Our garden fountain was literally crawling with wriggling little mosquito larvae - not just gross, but who wants them to grow up and bite you!? Popped one of these dunks in and no more little wriggling things. Awesome!!! We have pets (and wildlife around) so glad this was safe for animals.

I think it's working okay. I watched a video on how to set up a bucket to help reduce mosquitos in my yard %26 hopefully neighboring yards. I just have to remember to add water to the bucket when the weather gets hot as well as refresh the dunks when it rains %26 there's too much water, causing an overflow.

These seem to work really well. The thing is: you have to stay on top of treating the water. This really had a huge impact on the amount of fungus gnats i have. Didn't hurt my plant at all. Great product!

I take a small piece, crush it up and dump it in the water. After it sits for a while and then I use the water on my plants, it seems to work perfectly. I will buy this again the next time I run out.

I purchased this product for those blood sucking vampires (mosquitoes 🦟) I will drop one of these cakes where I find standing water outside. They breed in the water. They hide under old leaves that have not been raked up. Wherever I see them I put a cake nearby. Once the larvae and babies hatch they eat on these cakes and die. I am not a big fan of death but these are monsters whom carry so many diseases and they are not curable. I noticed after a good rain where the water sits. I fill those areas with dirt. Buy, you won't be disappointed. By the way they are attracted to certain colors, you can Google which ones. They are not fans of (O) positive blood. Anyone with that blood type, have no fear they will not come near

Too many mosquitoes this year and they're aggressive I have bought sprays. I have bought lights and now I have bought these dunks. The state has sprayed. Maybe if we could get rid of half of them nobody would carry away the trees.

We live in a rural area that has a ravine behind the house. The ravine is usually dry but after a snowy winter or a rainy spring, the ravine can run with water. The mosquitoes love to breed in this ravine. We were getting eaten up alive when the eggs (larvae) hatched. We tried these mosquito dunks out of desperation. You just throw them into standing water, they dissolve and I guess they kill the larvae. After doing this, we noticed a decrease in mosquitos on our deck. We also have a man-made waterfall that runs for 1 hour a day. I'd get rid of it if I could (former owner put it in). We threw one of these dunks into the standing water at the bottom of the waterfall (after the motor stops) and this seems to have minimized the number of mosquito bites we get. I would recommend these dunks. They're not perfect, but they do help.
