Mosquito Dunks Biological Mosquito Control, Kills Mosquitoe Larvae 6 Pack

Just 1-2 weeks after placing 1 dunk per bucket of water in several spots around my yard, there were no mosquitoes for weeks! Lasted us from mid June to early September. I just got bit last week in my front yard, so I ordered another pack. That should last until close to Thanksgiving, I'm guessing.

I use it frequently for many years. We have a big mosquito problem in the Tampa Bay Area and crews are out Spraying. I was told by a supervisor that I am one in a million to use these in my yards. The supervisor said they buy thousands of these and try to train citizens to use them, but they don't unfortunately. Great product for mosquito free yards!

Actually does what it claims and within 24 hrs! I'll find larvae wiggling around in odd nooks and crannies that catch rainwater. Sprinkle a little of this in there and bam, they're wriggling no more next day. I crumble 1/4-1/2 a dunk in a few inches of water in a bucket that sits beside the house all summer and collects rainwater to lure reproducing female mosquitoes into laying eggs there. I refresh the water and dunk maybe once every 1 or 2 months, whenever it gets murky or I see larvae wiggling around. Oz of prevention is worth a Lb of cure!

Many dead Skeeter larvae: we put buckets of water around our property, filled with grass, clippings, and water and a dunk. Mosquitoes try to lay their eggs in the water in the bucket and they are promptly killed. We have about a half dozen buckets around the yard and it seems like the number of mosquitoes has been reduced. I hate mosquitoes.

must have here in South Texas. love the fact that you break them in half or even in quarters depending on the body of water you're putting them in. most importantly they work! *safe for my plants, children and animals.

This help as the rain fills up my fountain and my planters. To keep the mosquitoes away.because now in California we worry about the West Niall virus.

I guess they work. I'm glad it did not dissolve right away. I've never used mosquito dunks before. The product stayed intact for several days, or possibly longer.

As far as I can tell, haven't helped at all. The labels say not to introduce into drinking water, which means even though they claim no harm to animals/plants beyond mosquitos and related insects, they have doubts about the impact on human health. So, I think that's yucky. And, I tried them on houseplants and they did nothing at all for a fungus gnat infestation. So they are not functional and likely, to some degree hazardous. Pretty bogus.

These say pet friendly but I would never use near my cats again! We had a water leak in our front yard and living in South Louisiana the mosquitoes were having a blast with it, eating us alive so I bought a pack to put in the standing water. The very next day I had several of the feral cats I take care of throwing up. I had seen them drinking the water and would stop them when I could but I'm sure that this is what made them ill!
