More 'liquidy' than other products, so it goes on more easily. Can't really say it protects as advertised because this was first application, but Mothers is a good brand. Used it on my slightly used '23 Maverick truck

works great i use it on my 98 ford f150 being 28 years old the rubber around the windows and doors still look new like i said works great

I have been detailing cars for nearly 50 years, and many new products have been crated in that time. With the use of so much plastic, vinyl and rubber in today's vehicles, it is critical to have a product that keeps those parts in top condition. Mothers Back to Black does just that, as do other similar products; but of all the products I have used , this one is by far the best. Even though the name says "black", it works equally well on any color, goes on easily and has little to no cleanup. It is just a superior product to use if you want to have a great-looking car for a long time.
