I love this spray wax. This is my favorite. I use it in between washes on top of my existing mothers synthetic paste wax. This holds up really well in the hot humid south Florida keys sun! Easy on easy off.
People that gave this such a horrible review, do not understand how to correctly use this product. It should be used like a hand wax, meaning after the vehicle is completely clean, and wiped down, you’ll spray directly on to your vehicle, or onto your soft towel. You’ll then work it into the paint, just do sections at a time, after you’ve let the wax bond to your paint (clear coat) takes a minute or two, you’ll take a separate clean towel, and wipe off the panel you just waxed. Also shake well EVERYTIME you spray on next panel. And repeat the process until done. This is an amazing product, if used correctly.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Best Detailing product I’ve ever used. It is very easy to apply and left my truck shining more deeply than I’ve ever seen it! I used on my wife’s car as well which is a totally different color and achieved the same results. The treated surface feels very smooth. Water beads off nicely. I even applied to the black plastics on my truck! A+ product. Totally worth it!
I picked up this product thinking, “it’s called Mothers. Moms don’t (won’t) let you down, right?” This Mother did! I. I wash my car and did all the stuff listed on the back before applying. As I start spraying this product its coming out like it’s clogged. I get a nail to try and fix but it’s still seems off. I wash my car later in the day to avoid hot direct sun and I want to get this done so my cars clean going back to work so I continue. Panel at a time clean micro towel to apply. Clean micro towel to buff, driver side then pass side “so product bonds” to surface. As I’m finishing I notice there’s these white specks and dull but noticeable swirl marks on my car. I grab another clean micro towel to try wiping off and I get some but alot remained. Next morning there’s typical condensation on my car and I can see those specks and swirls came back MAD. I get another clean micro towel and this just smears the wet speckled swirly mess over my car. Top it all off it rains last night and it seems worse. No offense but this Mothers product is trash!
I have used all the wax and polish gimmicks when they come out. When it comes to "ceramic" sprays this one just does not do it for me. I have now used it twice. The shine is there, water does bead but it is not as smooth as my ultimate quick spray waxs. sSo save your money and skip this "ceramic" wax. Seems every couple of years they come out with a new "Nano" gimmick.
Absolutely terrible. I have a white car and this wax managed to leave white streaks. I only gave it one star because there wasn't zero stars available.
Shook well %26 followed instructions, but as product dries it leaves a very oily film. I was exhausted after trying to buff out the greasy residue on my wife’s hood! Definitely returning unused portion to Walmart! Glad I didn’t try it on my truck cause I’d still be buffing that mess off!
I'm not sure what has gone wrong, here. I have applied this over top of California Gold, the instructions specifically saying it works well as an enhancer for a carnauba wax. My car looks like it had been doused in bacon grease. It's been 2 hours, I have buffed it repeatedly with microfiber, but running my finger across the surface of the car leaves very visible streaks. Help??
Water beading is no better than a cheap wash and wax. Now, in the right angle or light it looks like WD-40 was applied instead. Some greasy looking film. I've detailed my cars for 35 years and was looking for the"faster easier" option. This ain't it.
There is no difference between properly applied and wiped twice side and just washed side. Maybe fewer streaks but it's a black truck (with pearl, not blue). There is no difference on 2nd day with water beading. Use a shamy or micro fiber after washing for same results
