So cool! Perfect amount of light for a night light. Makes cool light effect on ceiling and wall. Vibrant shifting colors. Very relaxing. Light sensing so turns on and off by itself, though it only seems to respond to natural light rather than lamp light. I put this in my sons room and he loves it. My daughter is begging for one now too!
I have had one of these for my night light for quite a few years. it's just so beautiful to look at while you're drifting off to sleep, plus really convenient because it plugs right into the outlet. Turns itself off in the daytime. A really great price. I just bought a new one today for a spare, since the old one has been running continuously for years. they're getting a little bit harder to find now. Highly recommended!
I love this thing, I was expecting more of a water ripple-like effect but it's more of a fade in and out from color to color thing. Multiple colors at a time, they just fade from next set to the next. Has to be completely dark to get full effect. Strong glow in complete darkness, very soothing and comforting. Would be even better if it made sounds.
I bought this to be a nightlight for my 12 month old. It’s perfect for that as it’s not too bright, yet allows me to see when I go into her room at night. I also like that it has a sensor and plugs into the wall. She seems to enjoy it very much. The only thing I would say to others, if they were to purchase this light, is that the colors that reflect right above the light look a little bit like a monster’s face. She has no idea though as her monsters are Elmo and Cookie. I do wish it looked more like the real Aurora Boreales in the color scheme. Perhaps replace the red for purple.
affordable, and works well. lights up the wall and ceiling in my bedroom. pretty and soothing to watch at night.
this night light is so fun. it changes colors and patterns. when the lights are turned off it lights up the room but soft, warm as to not interupt sleep
While this light does work as advertised, there's two things about it I strongly dislike: First off, it's not adjustable in any way nor has motion, so if the angle isn't the greatest, you're SoL. The other issue is the LEDs are faded in and out via Pulse Width Modulation (google it), which results in the blue fading out very choppily.
This projector light doesn't create as big of a light show as what appears in the online advertising. My 4.5 yo Autistic daughter was very disappointed because she thought the entire ceiling would be a Northern Light show. I think this is better suited for children to use as a true nightlight not as a projector.
I like the idea of this, but it only works if you're outlets are upright and mine are horizontal so it doesn't project upwards and you need an unobstructed view so the one vertical outlet that I do have is obstructed by the windowsill so it doesn't quite flare up the wall the way it should. If you have vertical upright outlets that are unobstructed ideally up high, this will work well for you otherwise don't bother..
First time I plugged it in, and it stayed lit for about one minute and then shut off. I tried a different outlet, but it did the same thing. I had to return it. Don’t waste your money!
