Batteries came pre installed in both pieces. I use it to monitor my wife with Alzheimers whose going thru the sundowners stage. I put it on floor and it alerts me before she stands up. It it loud and has 2 alert chime settings. Works wonderfully

These have been perfect for peace of mind when the hubby is sent off to the other room at night. Being "older", I've always worried about a night time emergency but this device has made that less worrisome. We check the batteries by initiating the alarm button once per quarter to be sure they're operational.

great piece of mind with no fees also it reaches my sons shop so we ordered extra one, one for shop and one for kitchen even though it goes 300 feet

Love this product, gives my loved one privacy, because I can't hear the sounds in her room but she can still call for help even if I'm outside.

Works great. I Like that all the batteries are included. Maybe a little pricey for what it is, but totally worth getting to have peace of mind that I can be alerted if my loved one needs anything. My mom is diabetic and recovering from a stroke and takes lots of meds right now, so I can hear the beep/tone from downstairs over the fan and TV if she needs water, food or help with anything. Also like all the different options to wear lanyard, or clip or sticky or screw mount each of the 3 parts. I have put one in her bathroom and one near her bed which she can also wear around her neck. I can clip or carry the little base wherever I am. So glad to have found it! Arrived ahead of schedule. Terrific product! Thank you.

Got what I ordered, came quickly and works very nice. The receiver fits in a pocket or can be clipped to a belt. Portability is essential for me as I move around the house quite a bit. With this unit, no matter where I am, when my wife presses the Call Button, I receive the paging alert. The only thing I would ask is that the choice of alert tones should be increased. There are just two. There should be more.

My husband has Parkinsons and this is being tried out to see if he can buzz me in the main part of house if he needs assistance. So far working out. May have to consider one where we can actually talk to one another. Currently serving its purpose.

There needs to be two alarm boxes or receivers so it can be a two-way street in helping one another. The likelihood of hearing the alarm would all depend on where exactly it is placed. It may reach a distance to activate it but won't do much good if you're in another room or area when it goes off

This was exactly what I was looking for my parents to place in their bathrooms. Unfortunately the one I received had been previously opened, which was fine, but I believe it had been returned. The alarm has a good sound but the one I received would only alarm when directly pointed at the pager. That is not how it should work. The call buttons are placed in a room or the individual can wear, and the pager should be able to placed in the house or has a clip to carry with you. I am returning the original one I received and have already placed a new order for another one. I am really hoping the next one is not defective. I am going to say I would recommend this item, with high hopes the next one works as described.

This has 2 call buttons with the same sound so you cannot know which person is actually calling. I went to Walmart and got the run around on how to get a refund. When I finally got some good information, your recording says it's past the return date. Very irritating.
