MotionTex Fitness Equipment Mat, 36" x 84"

This mat is 30" wide, 66" long and 3/16" thick. When I picked this item for my next review I figured it would be a cheap mat but when I picked up the box after it was delivered I was surprised. It looks and feels like a great mat, heavy construction and one that should last for years. It comes rolled up in a box and when I unrolled it, it layed flat, no waves. When I was reading about the Dimex company I seen that their plant is in Marietta Ohio and as far as I know these mats along with their other products are made here in the USA. I've used their products before in landscaping and have had great success so I would expect these mats to be just as durable. From mats that go under your recumbent cycle or your barbecue grill there are many sizes available to fit your needs.

Really am liking this exercise mat. I have been looking for a longer mat for some time. This one is 30x66. Has great texture. Also prevents damage to floor when in place and equipment is on it on any type of flooring. There is one side that is described as pebbled surface texture that helps keep the mat from shifting during use and is very easy to clean. No issues at all so far. I would suggest that anyone with exercise equipment think about getting this mat.

This "MotionTex Fitness Equipment Mat" is just what I have been needing for a long time, to Prevent damage to my Linoleum from the Tread mill. The 30 x 66 inch mat, is the perfect size I needed. This will fit under most exercise equipment, like stationary bikes, spin bikes, elliptical machines, weight benches, treadmills, etc.. Some of these machines can be heavy with, moving parts and vibrations, and they can do damage to your flooring when used in your home. If you can't put your machine on concrete then this mat will help prevent dents, cracks and scratches that these machines can make. This mat is great for hard floors like tile, wood, vinyl, and laminate, it can help by absorbing some of the shock, it can also be used on carpet. The texture has a pebbled surface on top, and grooved lines on the bottom, these together helps to keep my treadmill from moving across the floor, it's easy to clean. The description reads, that "It has an antimicrobial agent is used in the unique material formula to protect against microorganisms that can degrade the material and cause odors". It's not real thick, but it works well to keep my treadmill in place, and protects my flooring, it seems to be sturdy enough to last for several yrs.

I received the motion text fitness map to put equipment on and this map is amazing it feels like your on air nothing like carpeting with the foam under the carpeting it really cushions everything that you're doing I'm going to use this in more than one places because I went and purchased 2 more of them because you know when you're in the kitchen standing on the floor and your cooking or cleaning or prepping food I need this so not only is my exercise by Garnet but I'm on it you will not regret the purchase it is well well worth the money I hope you enjoy it as much as I am.

MotionTex Fitness Equipment Mat, 30 x 66 I didnt get it for work out equipment thats what it for. I have old parkay floors, Jus had them sanded 5 months ago, so if you were going to use it to protect your floor from scratches and dents to wood this is the mat for you. I put it in my kitchen buy the sink.The floor there is ceramic tiles. I use a stool in the kitchen to do almost everything and the stool was cracking the tiles. Once I put the MotionTex Mat down on the ceramic tile, was great i can roll around my kitchen even better now. I am very grateful for this you will be to!

I chose this Motion Tex Fitness Equipment Mat in the 30" x 66" size as one of Walmart's Spark Reviewers. I have to say that I originally chose the mat as I thought it would be perfect under my treadmill. As it turns out, I have found so many other uses for it that I may have to purchase more. As my photos reveal, this product has two sides...one is a rather smooth side (with subtle texture) and the other is a more "pebbled" side that has a more pronounced texture. The more textured side is designated as the side that could grip your fitness equipment to help keep it from sliding around and also to prevent scratches to hardwood floors and indentations on carpets. When I first rolled it out, my cat jumped right on it and lied down for a kitty snooze. I loved that because I keep buying mats to place under her litter box that are supposed to "trap" the excess litter. Most of those mats have rather long rubbery textures to them, and the cat hates it. She just jumps out of the litter box right onto the floor...totally skipping the mat. I decided to cut off a piece just to place under the litter box. It catches the litter from her paws as she climbs out of the box. She doesn't mind walking on it. No more litter all over the floor or carpet! All I have to do then is either pick up the mat and shake the litter into the garbage...or I can actually vacuum the mat without sucking it up! I used the remaining piece of mat in our mud room to place muddy or snowy shoes or boots. It is the perfect solution! The material is actually easily washable either in the tub or outside with the hose. It dries quickly and helps keep my house a lot cleaner. I think you could also use this as a great thing to place your pet bowls on. If your cat is like mine, she likes to drop the kitty kibble all over the floor and then eat some of it, but leaves the rest lying there for me to vacuum up. This mat prevents the kibble from scattering all over the floor. The mat is also designed to be somewhat antibacterial and really is an item with a thousand purposes. I have to say that I would not hesitate to recommend this mat to anyone. No matter how you decide to use it, it is sure to become one of the most utilitarian items that you have in the house. Just buy one and give it a try!

I use this mat under my stationary bike in the basement. We recent had our basement remodeled and I want to make sure our new floors are protected. This mat serves two purposes. First, it protects our floors really well, and second, it stops the bike from moving. It's just thick enough and seems quite durable. I see this lasting for years.

Received this Motion Tex Fitness Equipment Mat as a member of the Spark Reviewer Program. We have a small gym set up in our garage and this mat will be a great addition to that area. It will add some nice insulation to the cold garage floor while working out. Cannot wait to set it up! A cozier area will work towards encouraging me to work out more!

This comes in a tight roll, when I received it I figured I would have problems with it laying flat. Surprisingly I moved my tread mill and laid it out, I stepped on it where it wasn't laying flat and it went down. It did roll when putting my tread mill back on so had my husband step on it at the front to help keep it in place. I only gave it 4 stars because I was looking for a bit of a thicker pad to protect my flooring underneath. It fits perfectly under my tread mill for width and length and it is protecting my floor nicely just wish it was a tad thicker.

I bought a sectional that just won't stay put on tile floors. So, my hope was that this mat would keep it in place. It works well. I only wish it was L-shaped like the sofa. The sofa still moves apart from my rowdy children, so I may need reinforcements but overall, it works. I am confident it would work just as well for a treadmill or other intended Exercise piece of equipment.
