For the price this phone has been way more than I expected. The stylus is nice to have too. I don't use it very often but when I do need it, it's nice to have.
I love it! I wouldn't upgrade for a long time because I loved the old one so much. Unfortunately, I had to go ahead and do it. I love this one as much as the old one. I am a hard Motorola fan.
Very happy with this phone. It was a replacement phone for our daughter and she has been able to play her games and watch videos without a problem. The calls seem clear and the stylus works well.
So far it's working well, for the most part. The only thing I'm still trying to figure out is why it's using so much battery. (even though I've set it to power saving, I don't play games or music. But, I'll keep working on it and figure it out. Other than that, I really love what I've gotten with the price. Very affordable and an easy to use phone. I love it!
Quality seems there,,ya just gotta get past/ignore.,the goofy Yank-at&t start up screen,,& eliminate the too much bloat ware as someone else wrote,,my local shop looked it over and said it's new,-should be no problem..cheers👍🥂
Have had an older Moto G Stylus for 6yrs, loved it never had any issues, currently posting from it. Unfortunately this one I just received yesterday had scratches straight out of the box and I didn't notice til after setting up my sim card and data. I only had the phone in my hand for an hour before noticing, the scratches must have came on the phone already. Make sure to check the screen before doing anything with your phone, didn't expect it receive it like this outta the box.
This phone has quite nice performance. It runs fast and is decent at gaming. I like the gaming feature which customizes settings in a pop-up while gaming. I've had almost no lags, though webpages take a second to load. I love the Moto shortcut to activate the flashlight which is a chop motion. Moto exclusive. Battery life is awesome, probably the phones best feature along with its performance. Charging speed is good too. Camera is good enough but its autofocus doesn't work well at more demanding conditions (e.g. lots of activity in a photo, close up shots). I accept that for the phones price but it is disappointing. Stylus is kinda useful. The Moto notes app isn't the best. It's not good for marking up a photo due to a bug in it. But it's okay for handwritten notes. Could be improved. The handwriting calculator is quite nice for quick math, but it sometimes misreads what I wrote and you cant erase and rewrite a number. The Moto handwriting text input sucks. If you use it you'll know why. I use the Gboard handwriting which works fine, other than having to write inside a rectangle. I.e There's more potential in the stylus if they improve its experience. I have some complaints. There is an ad lock screen that asks if you want to turn it on every few days and other ads you can turn off. That is betraying if you paid full price for the phone. Also I've had some bugs and it's not fully polished. E.g. the speaker volume can't go very low, so the minimum ringtone and notification volume is too loud if you want it at a whisper. The headphone quality has static. I will try returning since it may be a defect. The speaker volume is either too low or slightly too high for a quiet room. It should have more volume levels. The camera app crashed a few times while filming video, when zooming in and out, and lost the video. This hasn't happened otherwise, but I wouldn't know since I don't take a lot of video. The phone is kinda heavy. It makes it hard tto control the camera app with one hand.
First off, the phones were not in Excellent condition. One had dirt all over the case and the other one the stylus would not come out of the phone, it was stuck there.
I was excited to use my new unlocked phone, but to my surprise, when I turned it on, it said the SIM card must be from AT%26T. I wonder if it's possible to unlock it? What can I do?
The phone, itself is really nice, but it takes hours to charge. I'm using the charger that was given to me and it says it's charging rapidly yet at the same time it says it will take 4 hours to charge fully.. On top of that the stylus is broken and I can't get it out since the broken part is the end where you'd click and grip on the stylus.
