[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this oil to refill my car and for oil changes for years and it’s perfect for high mileage cars. I drive long distances a lot and this makes my car reliable and lasts for a while. I definitely reccomend this oil a lot, it’s a big portion and it lasts for a while.
I have been using this high mileage Synthetic Blend since my car hit 100K works great. My testament is that my 2007 Honda Civic Si Sedan now has 231,000+ and the motor is still going strong... I will plan on using the Full Synthetic when I replace with a 2022 Honda Civic Si in the future. :-)
I have use Valvoline motor oil in my vehicles for well over 20 years. And I will continue to use it for many years to come. I now work in the automotive repair industry and recommended Valvoline to anyone that will listen! I have seen inside these motors that don't use Valvoline!
I've used many Valvoline products for years and never had an oil related issue in all of my engines. Quality product, one you can count on. The new easy pour container is a great idea. Currently have over 350,000 miles on my 2000 Chevrolet Silverado and Valvoline keeps it running smoothly.
I've used MaxLife oil in my '96 Dodge Ram at least since it hit 75,000 miles. I trust it for the protection it gives my old truck as well as helping to stop a slight oil leak in the rear seal. Valvoline has a customer for life with me. I also use it in my '64 Pontiac GTO to help keep it going too!
One owner 2002 Ford Explorer 4.0, 300k miles and counting. no engine repairs whatsoever. Started w/5w-30 Valvoline Durablend and eventually converted to 5w-30 Valvoline High Mileage Synthetic blend, both at 4k intervals. That's 75 oil changes over the years, all with only one person turning wrenches and pouring Valvoline - and that's how I know the job is always done right. I chose Valvoline as my exclusive engine oil back in '02 based on a Durablend 200k engine protection promotion and never looked back.
I am running Valvoline Max Life in two 22 year old Mopars, one of which has 434, 000 miles on it. What I like about the product is that it doesn't "burn off" as quickly as other brands. I followed my dad's footsteps has all he ran was Valvoline and was always pleased with it as it seemed not leak as much as other brands, going back to 1963. And, he most of all, he just trusted it.
I use Valvoline products regularly and have confidence in their quality and consistency. I would prefer that the 5 quart jug for motor oil had a handle on top and that the opening was completely cylindrical so that my large funnel was not impeded when I returned used oil to the jug.
Great product but your redesigned bottle need some fixing. It needs the viewing window for the oil level flipped to the other side and the fullness marks flipped from top to bottom so it will shown how much you put in the truck and not whats left in the bottle or both units of measure
