Motorola MBP36S Digital Video Baby Monitor

My daughter has this monitor and it works great! We were so pleased with it that I bought this one for my niece. Very dependable

This monitor works really well. The picture and sound quality are great. My favorite part is that I can move the camera; if he rolls from one end of the crib to the other, I can just adjust the camera with the touch of a button.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This baby monitor from Motorola is absolutely amazing. It offers everything that parents need and want to keep an eye on their little ones. It has a convenient 5 inch portable screen that has an amazing range. I can walk anywhere and I don't have any problems with it cutting out at all. It has a pan/tilt feature that you are able to move with your screen. It offers a rechargeable battery that lasts a very long time and will alert you when the battery does need charged. It has so many neat features from the room temperature monitoring, two way communication and the night vision when the lights are down low. This is an awesome monitor and I'm so pleased with it I couldn't ask for anything more in a baby monitor.

Definitely not as good as the original 36 model we had but this does what it has to do. Would like to see the volume be able to go a little lower and it not be so glitchy when moving the camera side to side or up and down.

Turns off on it's own. Goes fuzzy. Walmart told me to call Motorola to replace it. Started dealing with Motorola dec 23 and got the replacement April 15th after being persistent. Now new one has the same issue. Don't waste your money or time. Bought dec 2017.

This monitor does not last. I bought it when our oldest child (now 4) was a baby. I was planning to use it for all of our children. The screen died after two years. Motorola sent me a replacement. Once again, after two years, it died. I contacted Motorola and asked if this was how long they expected their product to last - only 2 years. They replied, "It is typical for most of our customer's products to last between two and four years, if not longer. With that being said, we are only able offer the guarantee it will work for the duration of our warranty period." The warranty period is only one year. I expect a baby monitor to last longer than one year. I have many other electronics - iphones, ipads, ipods - that get much more use and last years longer. This product mainly sits on my nightstand. I am disappointed. We are expecting another baby and will choose a different monitor. I am posting this review wherever I can in hopes of saving others the money for a product that does not last.

This monitor is great, until it stops working. Out of all the women in my mom group that also got this monitor, not a single one of us has a reliably working monitor. The video cuts out, the camera doesn't charge correctly, the camera and monitor randomly don't pair, the night vision won't turn on....the problems are endless. BUT the most frustrating part is dealing with Motorola customer service. They don't care. They take days to respond online and when they do, they give ridiculous timelines for replacements. They make you pay to ship your broken monitor back to them, and offer no apologies or compassion that they've left exhausted new parents without a monitor. It is ridiculous. Buy from a different company, for your sanity.
