I received the Motorola solutions T270 two-way radio black with blue 2Pack. When I received them I read the instruction manual on how to set them up and pair them. It was a lot of going back to see how they work and what buttons to use to set them up. I have never used a two way radio before. We have used these while out on my sons property. The kids wanted to explore and these clip to your jeans and so much easier to use than a cell phone. These go up to 20 miles plus it has weather channels and alerts. The USB charging is nice. It has 22 channels and 121 privacy codes, hands free, and scan/ monitor. They are also compatible with FRS/GMRS radios. The kids have used them to talk to each other from their rooms.

I live in a small town and when I'm outside and someone else is outside we can talk about 2 miles away. This distance always varies because of the buildings and the terrain in the area. I've used several different two way radios and they all seem to perform the same as far as distance goes. That's because these are as powerful as they can be without being an item you would need a license to use. I'm very happy with these. The size is perfect they are easy to use and they both can charge off of the same charger. What I like the most about these radios is that they have a monitor (scan) setting. So they scan all 22 channels and if someone broadcasts on any of them these pick right up on it almost immediately.

My daughter used to have a pair of her favorite character walkie talkies that just never worked, no matter how hard her and her friend tried to get them to work. I never thought about getting a 2 way radio so was excited to have her try out the Motorola Solutions T270 Two-Way Radio Black W/ Blue Two-Pack with her friends, they love running around the neighborhood talking to each other. These radios are small and very light. They have a cop so you can clip them to your clothes, bags or whatever and they won't weigh you down. It says they go up to 25 miles, which I have not tested yet but I really plan to. I did test them to close to a mile and surprisingly they worked good. These are also going to be great the hunting property to keep in communication without having to use their phones or out fishing. They have a lot of different features besides the 2 way radio including weather alerts and more, honestly those are really the only 2 features we used right now. These are cool if you're looking for another way to communicate or play around with friends.

These two way radios are very easy to use and so much fun. So far we have only used them to play with around the house and outside but will definitely come in handy for other things like hiking and camping. They are lightweight and communication is very clear. They hold a charge well and haven't had to recharge them yet after playing with them for a few hours so far. The range for these radios is up to 25 miles, which is amazing! It has weather channels and alerts on them too which is very helpful with camping and doing things outdoors. Easy to use and charge and have no complaints, highly recommend!

Motorola Solutions T270 Two-Way Radio Black and Blue Two-Pack walkie talkies that have a range of up to 25 miles. My 2 older teens are only on 2 different floors but they said they like doing old school (they both have cell phones and usually text or video with each other). They csn be used if someone is in the front yard doing yard work and the other one is in the back yard. It was easy to pair them up and get them working. Lots of channels to use, when the older kids used them it picked up the local store warehouse so they changed channels and no longer getting interference with the store. They are easy to use but with everyone having a cell phone we keep in touch that. It would be good to have them on a camping trip because if there is no cell service to use you can stay on touch with camp if you don't walk far. I would recommend them as they do work very well. The kids had a blast with them to see how they work and how far they can be heard. They really liked the black and blue colors and how easy it fits in your hand and has a clip you can use to use on your jeans or pocket.

I got these in hopes of being able to talk to my husband while he's mowing and not carrying his phone. They work wonderful for that, but they're even more amazing because they can reach my i laws house! That means I can pack one with my six year old and he can chat with us anytime he's feeling chatty! They live a few towns over, it's truly amazing how long the range is. I highly recommend!

These are good basic radios. We use them when camping or road tripped with others, especially when there is no cell service. The range is okay, not super far when there are trees and other things in the way.
