MotoTec 500 Watt 48V 3 Wheel Electric Trike Mobility Scooter

I purchased two scooter, one for me one for my husband. We are never home now. We are having a blast. Everywhere we go there is a crowd around us I'm surprised if we haven't sold at least 10 of them. It does take a little getting used to it, but after that there is no stopping you We have already been on the metro train No problem. Possibilities are Enormous

Very pleased. Took about an hour for 2 people to put together. Had to get instructions off YouTube It goes fast! So far hubby has ridden it about 12 miles and battery is just off low. Seems much more sturdy than his previous Zappy he had for 5 years. Would definitely recommend this one.

This electric Trike is so very worth the money the charge lasts a very long time i have had this trike for 4 days and the battey is still full

I tried this item for fun as it did not have any comparable type of riding cycle. I was disappointed to find that while some assembley was required, there was no parts list nor real assembling instructions included. The limited phamplet referred to to a smaller similar unit which did not work. I went on line and found better instructions and photos which with trail and error and a few swear words. I finally got it to work. Other than the jerkey start it has no major flaws. But at thes price I would expect a much smoother start and stop.

I have not driven it much due to the heat. From my short experience, I found the front drive motor is very powerful, and the throttle control does nothing until more than half way open, and then it starts full throttle. Result is if started on earth or a gravel driveway, it digs a hole instead of going forward. Started on pavement, it is much better. I wrote the company about a way to adjust the throttle and was told that was the way it was designed. It comes without a flag or way to attach one, and no rear mirror or reflector. I am fixing that.

There are absolutely the sorriest instructions to assemble it. If it weren't for the picture on the front and you tube, I would still be working on it.

Handle bars too narrow span. Basket too small and interfers with folding handlebars down. Trike feels too unstable when riding.

DON'T BUY! THE THROTTLE CUTS OUT EVERY TIME YOU USE IT AND THE CONTROLLER DOESN'T WORK. I HAVE BOUGHT 5 OF THESE MODELS FOR WORK AND THEY ALL HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM!

I really liked this scooter until it kept breaking down, at first it was my tires and now it wont move at all. I have taken care of it and done everything i am supposed to do and it just wont move, i think that the brake lock on the handle bar may be that problem but i am not sure, it could be a lot of things i am no mechanic, so help me and FIX ME. I need this scooter to get around and am lost without it HELP!!!
