Moultrie Edge 3 Cellular Trail Camera - 2 Pack

these are amazeballs. i do not like to pay for a subscription but these are some of the best cameras iut there. be aware they take 16 AA batteries. if you buy duracell they last months and months.

Moultrie Edge 3 cameras are my go-to trail camera. Great pictue quality and easy to install. I couple them up with Moultrie 10v Solar Panels and Moultrie Lithium power paks for year long operation.

Unmatched in ease of use, the image quality is excellent and the option for photo and video is great.

Looks great havent got to try out yet nervous about the cell tower's usage cause that can be a hit or miss but other then that so far im pleased

Good cameras for the money. I'm sure there are better ones available but these do everything we need them to do!

The Edge 3 is so easy to set up and takes great pictures and videos. All Moultrie cameras easily connect to the best available signal.

It looks good, but we are returning it because we need a solar system. Unfortunately, this is not it .

I am satisfied with camera quality and the ability these cameras have. However, I have had a lot of trouble receiving videos when requested. Sometimes takes over 2 days to get a video sent over. Not sure if there is a fix for this or not.

I bought these hoping to have a more convenient way to observe my trails, while having longer deployment capability. So far, pictures come through fine but videos take entirely too long. While I like that I can hook these up with solar panels that have their own batteries to power the units, the cellular cost of around $32 per month for both of them seems too much. I just set them up and have been waiting 2 hours for a 5 second video clip to download. Oh, and that $32 per month is "discounted" because I paid about $400 advance for the year's service. For that, you get "unlimited pictures" and 50 videos per month. I get notified of images captured, and a picture is shown with a "requst" to download the video. But it takes forever to download the video. between the cost of the cameras, solar panels and the subscription, call it about the worst, most disappointing $600 I have ever spent. I had high hopes for these, but so far, it falls supremely short of even being satisfactory. For the money per month of subscription, I'd much rather have access to random live streaming than waiting several hours for a 5 second video it captured. And sure, you can set it to capture longer videos, but how long would those take to load after being requested? 6, 8, 12, 24 hours? I'm giving it one star for the solar panels, and one star because the location tracking of the cameras is decent. The data transfer and time it takes for videos to download after being "requested" (their terminology not mine) isn't worth anything.

Horrible battery life. Pretty sad that the solar comeras off Temu are 10x better. I returned these. 16 batteries per camera and they die within a week or two. I spent $30 for batteries for ONE camera for them to die so fast. Get the cheap solar ones online instead they won't disappoint you nearly as much and you don't have to pay for a certain amount of photos or videos. One subscription is unlimited for one camera.
