Camera is always charged. I did have to turn the solar panel in a more practical position to get plenty of light mid day in the woods but! After that, its been amazing. Pics and videos come in within just a minute or 2. After dealing with years of Spypoint disappointment, this camera is outstanding!

I love this camera! I've had it for more than a month and it gets about 3 hours of sunlight a day and sits at 93% to 95% charge on the rechargeable lithium battery that comes with it. The panel is fully adjustable so that you can get it in maximum sunlight. I don't think I'll have to visit this camera for battery changes.

Even though this camera didnt make it 24 hours before a bear destroyed the solar panel it takes very quality photos. At this point my pro for this camera is that even with solar panel destroyed I can still use it as it has rechargeable battery so you can just use it like a regular camera

We have solar panels on our edge2 cameras and decided to trial this version. Moultrie keeps getting better and improving their products. This set up has been the best so far. The charge is great so far. quality of the photos/videos is excellent. Very pleased

The camera is operating as it should, I have it located in a bottom with low light. The solar panel is doing a great job of keeping the battery at 100%. The only issue I'm having is in me, I'm facing to much east and picking up a glare in the early morning hours. I will be purchasing more units.

I own 2 of the Solar Edge type cameras. Pro's: Easy set-up, mounting and connection, nice adjustments for how often pictures can be taken and sent. Solar batteries last approx. 4-6 weeks before having to recharge them. Cons: Poor design with battery on the bottom and no cover, I have to zip tie the batteries so they make connections and wish there was a way of turning the camera off, so while I am working it is not taking pictures.

I like the cellular ability of the camera, quality of pictures is pretty good except for when it gets foggy. I'm having major issues with my unit charging itself. Have moved it multiple times and even out to where it gets sun exposure 8 hours a day and it still won't self charge.

This camera only lasted one week and then the infrared light shutter got stuck and all of my pictures are red or pink..
