What can ya say about a steel Box?? It does what is supposed too
Provides great safety definitely worth purchasing!
I have a security box for every camera I own. I am not worried about theft but I do have plenty of bear in my hunting area and these protect very well against them. Also I love the new lock hasp design because I do not have to get a long shank lock to secure the box closed now.
The EDGE Series Security Box is a great accessory to the EDGE camera. The camera fits perfectly into the box. I love the foam inserts the hold the camera secure and in the correct place for capturing the pictures. The lag bolts and spacers that are included assure the perfect accessories. I highly recommend this for all your EDGE cameras.
Only one little issue. . . is the antenna effects putting the lock on. . . a differant lock would work maybe other wise good product
the flash on night pictures is a little much and it takes a lot of wind pictures but overall for the money worth it and the app is top notch
I bought two, I installed them in different dates. When installed them price are 254 dollars. Spoke to Jordan. Now I don't know if he is incompetent in this business or trying to rob me.. however it is, this why I will never recommend Moultrie.
I want to let you know how dumb your Edge security boxes are. And the camera housing for that matter. All your previous cameras had loop for a Python cable. And in the box you could go through the loops of the camera while inside the box and the box. Your new set up IS STUPID! Cant secure the camera without a cumbersome security box. But you can't secure the box unless you SCREW IT TO A TREE :man-facepalming: That's a big ticket in Michigan on state land. If you try to run the cable through the holes in the box then put the camera in, you can't close the box. Who's the clown that drew this up? For 20 years you had a good system. Now you've got a mess. So you can only run the cable through the holes of the box meant for a padlock :serious_face_with_symbols_covering_mouth:
The cable lock holes in the security box do not align with the holes in the Edge Pro Camera. You must drill your own holes so that the cable will pass through the security box AND the game camera. Poor product design.
I bought this box because i have had trouble with bears. I also have the solar panel 10w. Well the panel you are supposed to be able to use with the new batteries so plug directly into battery should have power all the time. Welllll the security box isn't cut open enough to feed cable (type c to type c which they don't send they send incorrect cable) through the bottom. Who the heck is their engineers because they suck!
