Great product, easy installation steps and strong to support a 34 inch ultrawide Monitor!!!
This is a great sit-stand desk! I spent a long time looking at reviews for different options before ordering this one. Someone in my office tried a much more expensive sit-stand desk and did not like it, so I wasn't sure what to expect from this one, being that it is much cheaper. However, it has been exactly what I needed! For the price, it is very sturdy and I love having the flexibility to move it out of my way when I want to work on my desk surface or have a conversation, or I can easily move it up and down when I want to change between sitting or standing. The cord management in particular has been great in that regard, because cords are clipped out of the way. Also the monitor mount works really well with my approx. 36\ monitor. It was a lot of work to put it together
This mount is constructed using quality components. It was easy to assemble and functions as described. I have the Max size 27 in. monitors installed and they use an adapter sourced from Human-Centric due to the fact that my monitors had no VESA mounting options. The adapters do make the monitors sit away from the original vesa mounts thus I do experience some bounce at all levels, but after a week its really not noticed. The keyboard shelf is not wide enough for a full size keyboard and mouse. The keyboard has to be shifted off the left side to allow enough room to have full control of the mouse across two screens. The Keyboard shelf is constructed to tilt up in a parked position when not in use but if you have a wired keyboard and mouse you have to allow enough slack in the lines to move them. The gas assist for raising and lowering works well and handles the weight.Things I would change: Keyboard Shelf Tilt Up /Tilt Down using an incremental ratchet device, this would allow additional options for Use of the keyboard and being able to lock the shelf would assist when raising and lowering the desk/monitors.An add-on mouse platform would be another great feature. Finally Two 27 in. monitors only allowed to tilt forward or backward makes the viewing area super wide. It would be great if the VESA Mounts would articulate in all directions thus allowing the monitors to tilt inward slightly. Over All this is a good piece of equipment and would purchase another if needed.
Just what I ordered. I ran into 2 'problems'. The first is that the edge of my desk did not support the clamp for the monitor arm, so I used the stand base. Since my room had plenty of flour space, this was an easy solution. The second was, I just didn't realize how big the piece would be. That said, it works very well, as advertised, is very stable and easy to raise and lower. Having a place for my laptop, tablet, etc. is fabulous.
I very much appreciate this sit-stand desk attachment. I looked at a lot of choices before settling on this one. The main reason was for the additional work space above the keyboard tray. The unit can be fitted for about any size and very large monitors. It swings, raises, lowers, and moves in multiple positions. Everyone in my office is envious. The ONLY drawback is inability to turn monitors in for better view. With large monitors you'll be looking a long way to each side. But, I love it. Needed it for years. Will never go back.
This is gigantic. I was imagining a lower profile with more flexibility. We ended up modifying it by removing the black tray and tucking the keyboard back further, this gained us some space and range. It is very sturdy and heavy duty, will probably last forever!
Solves my back problems beautifully. I have a Mac so assembly was a little more difficult. I gave it 4 stars because it takes up a lot more room than I thought it would. My office is very small. Also, it would be good to explain that if you desk is not a table, there will be a need to drill into the back side of the desk in order to get the clasp on. This made installation a bear. Other than that, it is of good quality and it SAVED my back.
Solid Product. Need an additional person to fix it. You can rotate and adjust height etc. Little shaky while typing in the keyboard(it may be because my table which is holding the workstation is not firm). Overall, like the materiel. Highly recommend for home office.
The product is SO VERY heavy! I can't understand why since my monitor and keyboard weight maybe 3-4lbs. I liked the instruction photos to put it together; however, an explanation what to do next would have been helpful. The main thing I didn't like was that the board attached to the keyboard where you can put things like pens phone and a drink doesn't sit on my desk which caused the keyboard try to be higher than I needed. At the end of the day I had a lot of wrist pain. Also that piece can't be adjusted so when I tried to move the monitor that keyboard tray moved with it.
I am very disappointed. I had been so excited to use my new desk. This would not mount to my desk. No where that I saw did it say specifics about what was needed to have it mount to a desk besides the width of the top. What it fails to mention is that if you desk is an overhanging desk, meaning it is not just a flat top with legs, it might not work. I am going to try to go to the hardware store to see if I can find anything to make it work, but will likely need to return the item.UPDATE: After disassembling my desk, I was able to fit the clamp through my desk drawer and clamped it to the desk top. I changed my review from 1 to 3 stars. The desk is too wobbly for me to use, but the design and functionality are great. I will be returning the desk and switching to a desktop model for more stability. If it were sturdier, I would keep it. I love the range of motion.
