You know the thing you screw to the back of your tv when you mount it on the wall? It looks like I attached one of those and I'm using it as a laptop desk as opposed to a finished piece of furniture. easy to install but not sturdy and wobbles when I'm typing and doesn't look appealing

The most and mount are quite stable, and as long as you aren't typing on the laptop directly, it's pretty stable even on a height-adjustable desk that itself moves a little. What I don't like, is how fragile the black paint is. Any piece that is moved or adjusted, the black paint gets marred, scratched, or flakes off. Also, the platform isn't stiff enough. the front corners are already drooping under the laptop's rubber feet, to the point where the center of the laptop is actually touching the platform.

couldn't use it too small for the clamp to close on my desk.
