Mountain Dew has come out with some extremely horrible flavors these last couple of years. Code Red ISN'T one of those. Does it have a real cherry taste? No, but it still has a pleasant taste, %26 no chemical aftertaste. This one one of my favorite sodas. Overall, pretty decent marks all around...

I get this item every time I shop. It is the only soda I drink! I've tried the other flavors, but this is hands down, is the only flavor that works for me. I personally don't like carbonation, so I add Gatorade powder to the soda to fizz out the carbonation. I also sometimes add collagen powder, which will take out the carbonation also. But I hate to recommend this to anyone else because then there will be less for me LOL! But it is the only cherry-flavored soda that actually tastes like cherry, and I have tried them all!

In the world of soda, there are many undisputed things. Sugar free equals disgusting. Zero is always better than diet. Mountain Dew is the king of beverages. However, the king has many faces and one of those faces is code red. Its like a cherry 7-up, if it wasnt terrible. Its the exact flavor of 'im gonna be up playing video games until the sun rises'. Mountain Dew code red is the older, angrier brother to Baja Blast. If Baja Blast is for relaxing on a beach then Code Red is for being air dropped behind enemy lines. If you like cherry soda but hate that its always COLA, this is the perfect soda for you. Try it. Do it now.

This flavor of Mountain Dew is one of the best I have tried. It has a great flavor that is not to over sugar flavored and not overly carbonated. I think it is a great value but would love to see a price reduction of course as all prices have skyrocketed.

Seems to have more cherry flavor less citrus. Carbonation isn`t as intense either. The caff.. gives a little push but not crashing like an energy drink an hour later. If you haven't tried it really should.

My favorite addition to all my other sodas in stock is Mountain Dew Code Cherry. I try to stay to a limit of 5 sodas a day, and i use one of this products can per day, giving me 12 days of drinking it. I buy this product whenever its on sale, and hope to buy more.

I've never been a cola drinker, so that narrows my options big time. Code Red is one of about 3-4 different sodas I drink. I just wish they would throw it on sale more often. I do almost all my grocery shopping online at Wal-Mart, but watch the major stores (Safeway, etc.) for their weekly soda sales. Especially, buy 2, get three free. I have to admit, though, the high prices do encourage me to drink more water.

One of my favorite true taste real smooth tasting with just the right amount of sweetness hsve bought it over and over again but if and when the price expands over 6:00 I will switch to something else lower than it I refuse to pay over six dollar for a 12 pack of soda so as long as it' stays at Six or below I will continue to buy it

I have been a Mt Dew drinker for years. I started drinking code red for roughly 15 years ago. I love, love, love the taste of this soda. It has a perfect amount of cherry flavor, great carbonation, great flavor. With all of that being said, I will not recommend Mt Dew Code Red to anyone! It is not good for any humans!!! 🫡
