Surprised at how good this was
This was one of the first things I tried from Mountain House, and it is not as good as my home made beef stew, but it is VERY good. Easy to make. I look forward to Mountain House making more Gluten Free varieties like this. It is a little expensive, but, considering it stays fresh for about a million years, it is worth it.

Favorite
One of my favorites. It rehydrates quickly. Has a good mix of vegetables in the stew. I add seasoning and redistribute into zip lock bags for individual servings for use out in the field year round. In the winter I add a tablespoon of bacon grease to each bag. Definitely rehydrates better than some of the other meals.

I hope I never need it!
I'm sure it's awesome, as the other things I've tried from MH. I literately bought two pouches of MH and liked the product so I've bought tons of the canned stuff in hopes I never need it. However, if I do, I know I won't be eating any artificial garbage, as I've researched the market and MH has the broadest menu of non-garbage foods. Just because something is freeze dried, doesn't mean it's not full of trash ingredients.

Tragic if discontinued
Eating my first bowl from the multi-serving can. It is so delicious with a wonderful gravy-broth that I don't want it to ever be discontinued. The ingredients are so healthy! I don't want canned soup. People - buy this! I eat it at home. Cooked on stovetop. Yummmmm

glad to have them
I have tried mountain house before in the packs and they were delicious. I am try to eat real food 100% of the time generally. I am glad they made these to have for emergencies.

Testing beef stew
The beef stew is my favorite...i have been buying alot of that. The veggies are great the meat is great and just enough sauce. Great job with that!

Like Mom Once Made
Tastes like homemade beef stew. Great flavor, texture and memories of the food Mom made when I was growing up. This is my favorite of many great meals that Mountain House makes.

Better than I thought it would be
I bought this thinking it would be a waste of money. But I really like it. It tastes like normal stew and I like how fast it is to prepare. I bought this because I don't cook anymore and wanted something to try for every day. This is perfect.

Great packaging
This is only a partial review as I have not opened nor used the product. This beef stew can was one of four I bought. All four cans came in one box, very well packaged, protected, and absolutely no damage.
