I absolutely love this Mac and cheese! I always make sure I have some on hand. It’s so quick and easy to make and it is so creamy and cheesy and the noodles are perfect. I’ve made it for several people and not told them what it was, and they all rave over ithighly recommend it!
Mtn House makes BY FAR the best emergency\backpacking\work meal on the market. I hope they can keep the price point at or below $10 (alfredo is $11 ), but even if not, the quality is ALMOST homemade! Easy to rehydrate (but I usually recommend five minutes on top of what they say and two tablespoons extra water just to make sure everything gets fully rehydrated AND has plenty of sauce! I have purchased and tried over four different brands and found MH superior. Highly recommended!
It was a bit expensive, but very good, rehydrates well. As with most emergency foods, this one requires hot water(boiling) to prepare properly. It uses the pouch for preparation container, again, rehydrates well, and tastes really good, like a nice pot pie.
Great quality and super easy to prepare—just add hot water. Perfect for emergencies, camping, or backpacking. Tastes better than expected and stores well. Highly recommend!
Bought this for a backpacking trip with a Scouting group. This was by far the favorite of the group. Easy and fast with no cleanup. This was not the first time buying this and definitely will not be the last time either.
I love Teriyaki so when I saw this I tried it . It has a good flavor . I love how easy it is to prepare. I did cook it a few minutes longer than suggested ansince I was at home I used a small pot on my stove. It kept well for left overs. I bought another one later and added some left over chicken. I did boil it in chicken stock.
Kind of pricey but a flavor full product and lightweight and durable for extended trips away from home and emergency situations.
I love the taste and ez to use . I also like the 30 year shelf life .
Reliable quality for great backpacking food.
Very little weight for the amount of food, and easy to make. The flavor/taste is ok especially when you're tired/hungry. A little pricy however there aren't many alternatives that compare with the quality.
