Was disgusted to see mouse droppings on the kitchen counter. Never happened before ever. Bought MouseX because I wouldn't have to worry about my dog getting poisoned as it's non toxic and safe. I put the packets in corners of the counters and behind the stove. After a day I saw that one packet had been completely eaten and no more mouse or it's disgusting poops since
I was seeing those awful little field mice everywhere in my house, every time I went in a room. Didn’t matter which one. I was so disgusted. I bought these last month %26 put the out like instructed. I have maybe seen 3 mice since. I bought 4 more boxes today. I need to finish the house. These are very easy to use %26 are convenient. Their top selling points for me were the fact that the mice don’t die in the wall %26 smell to high heaven for a month %26 the top selling points are I can drop then over behind the furniture %26 appliances where my dog can’t get to them. Also the fact that if my pets decide to play with any of he mice that have eaten this bait, it will not harm my pets.
This product seems to be effective. The next day after spreading the poison, we saw a dead mouse and the smell of a dead animal from inside the garage. Pretty good stuff.
Real difficult to judge effectiveness because the reason you buy it is to throw the poison packets in places that are difficult to get to so you can't really tell if they are being nibbled on by the mice. Also very expensive, 20.00 for just 6 packets, that's a lot when you really can't tell if thee working.
I bought this along with outside rodent poison boxes to put it in. The packets of product keeps getting eaten but I'm still having problems with mice. I placed the packets also in the basement between the insulation and the upstairs floor. The mice have eaten them but continue to keep running around between the floor and insulation. Just ordered more to see if a larger dose will get rid of them. I like the fact that it's only supposed to affect rodents and not other predators that eat mice.
the box said it contained 6 pellet bags but only had 4. use 2 in the house where I found a lot of droppings but bags were untouched after 2 weeks. threw 2 under the house but I can't see if those were touched. still have a rat that avoids all traps I have set out. even my 5 dogs can't catch it and they have given up. thinking of just moving out of my house and letting the rat take over the mortgage.
Currently I can't recommend this. I was expecting the mice to take the bait, but so far none of the toss bags have been chewed through. I have gotten rid of everything I thought they might be eating.. But now I think they are eating paper over this... 🤷🏼♀️.. I either have really smart mice or maybe I should cut a small opening to enttce the mice to eat it. I only purchased this because my sister has professionals %26 they used this brand to kill the mice in her house. So it was recommended through the professional pest control agency she uses. Otherwise, it's toss into areas you've seen activity or see droppings %26 that's exactly what I did. The last one I tossed a few days ago, but I cut that one opened a bit... Funny thing is - my previous traps that had stopped working, are now working (live traps - I take them down to the preserve where there are predator birds to catch them!).
I live near a nature preserve and there are field mice. they like to climb into the house. so I have to do something about them. I used to catch them and we release them away from the house but that really didn't solve anything. I bought these packets. the mice will come in. they will chew on plastic but they will walk right over these packets of poison. I can't recommend these. the ones that work here are the ones that are little squares that go in a plastic black house. I just put them behind the cabinets. they work better.
i have never had a mouse in my house. y'all hear me NEVER! i wont even go to Disney world cuz i might see Mickey and Minnie. i dont know who was more afraid, me or the mouse. too bad i couldnt have recorded my blood curdling scream, probably would have won a special effects oscar for a scary movie. then i fell to the kitchen floor and puked. i have no idea where he went. i purchased these throw packs, vamoose, glue traps, and did pepper, cloves and cotton balls soaked in ammonia. yep! i been a googling fool! i crawled all over my house looking for holes. i moved here 5 years ago and put steel wool in every hole i could find. yep, missed a hole the size of a nickel behind the drawer under my oven. still dont know where the mouse is. he started running in figure 8's, circles, back and forth and headed back toward the stove i believe. now that hole has steel wool. i suppose i shouldnt give this one star cuz i dont know where he is but he hasnt eaten into any of my 18 bags! not in glue traps either. the other product is supposed to just make them leave i think. if he gets in a glue trap, or eats any of this and passes away in my house y'all will never hear from me again. i will simply have a heart attack because i couldn't take him outside. and he would not go in my trash can. shoot, then I'd have to buy a new trash can too. oh, by the way, it was April 19th when i saw him and my whole life changed, and i did see mouse poop on counter beside oven and on floor. not seen any since then and today is May 12. i have purchased all new pots, pans, toaster, silverware, Keurig and i have cleaned my oven 4 times. still just eating sandwiches off paper plates that i keep in frig. y'all reckon' he's gone? if he's still here, he's not pooping. oh goodness!!! whats a woman to do!!??!?
found a hole underneath my washing machine I set up four oldschool big snapping traps with peanut butter got five of these little bags that have poison in them I think you got like six of them you just throw them where you want n they did not work at all none of the bags were bitten into I 100% recommend the regular rat traps just like mouse traps but twice as big they're 2.50 a piece at Walmart
