I use this microphone to record meetings onto my laptop to help with accuracy when I transcribe the meeting minutes. Attendance at these meetings runs from 80 to 130 people gathered in a recreation hall at a church. I sit with my computer and this microphone in a front corner of the room. It has no problem picking up the voices of the people furthest away. The recorded voices are quite clear. I purchased this microphone in the hope that it would help make my job a bit easier when I type up the minutes (and it does). The microphone connects to the computer via usb cord. It definitly has surpassed my expectations and I do recommend this Movo Photo MC1000 USB Conference Computer Microphone. I do hope that this review helps in your decision to purchase one for yourself (or a friend).
