Mr. Coffee 12-Cup Switch Coffee Maker, Black

Coffee pot works that's all I care. I do believe cheap coffee makers are the best the program coffee makers doesn't even last one year because the electronic circuit board is mounted by Mr. coffee just behind argument say in front of where the hot steamy water residue sets, allowing the penetration of moisture into the electronics. Poor designed I purchased two of Mr. coffee and both failed well then one years time when I purchased insurance through him through Walmart and insurance agent is Allstate they argued and they would never pay me any money back for these two detective coffee makers that's why when I order something for Walmart that's why I gave product that requires electricity and the Negussie Walmart and Allstate insurance fail me each and every time that's why nowadays when I order products from Walmart, they always why on my screen additional insurance two years four years five years I would never pay money again cause your program through Allstate is horrible not the product that I ordered that was delivered December 18. The only thing that was in that big box I mean a big box was two devices for chopping up potatoes, hamburger meat, and sausage. The big box measured 10 x 10 x 11 big box or two small kitchen utensils and the onion chopper red that I ordered was not even in the box. Seems like every time I order a product that cost me sponsored either. I don't ever get it or when I do receive it it's the wrong product or missing products such as atoms I can no longer trust and I will not trust ordering products and items from Walmart the only thing I've had very good success with is home home delivery but that's at the Super Walmart a mile and a half away from my home so I highly doubt that this message will ever even be looking into. I don't want an apology. I don't wanna hear I'm sorry I don't wanna hear. No lies because I'm disgusted and I am fed up with companies that give lousy service. I have spent hours on the phone trying to retrieve money back back into my account for debit card account and every time it turns into a humongous hassle you need to bring this to your people's attention Walmart and while you're at Walmart or bring it to your own self, Walmart, I've said enough and enough is enough.!!!

Mr. Coffee simplified the design of its basic coffee maker, but it works pretty much the same. The new side-opening cover makes it easier to pour in water, but interferes more with the underside of kitchen cabinets. A negative is that the water level sight gage provides poorer visibility of the water level.

I have always had a Mr. Coffee but don’t care for this one. I find it awkward to use with the way the lid opens from the side. Also, the handle does seem stable as I can feel a “give” when pouring a full pot. I really like the old style that I have used for yrs.

The first unit broke, so I exchanged it for a new one. The second unit leaks coffee over the carafe and onto the hot plate. The carafe is so cheap that it mispours most of the time, spilling scalding coffee on the counter and sometimes on my hand.

This thing died after 4 months. I only make one pot per day. It has a 1 year warranty but Mr Coffee customer service is terrible. Filed warranty claim online, they replied with nonsense canned answers and are so far failing to do anything for me. I thought Mr Coffee was a decent brand, I will never buy one again!

This Mr. Coffee is, hands down, the best value for my hard earned money. Could not be easier to use. Put filter in basket, add coffee grounds, pour water into the reservoir, and turn it on (and it will keep your coffee nice and hot until you turn it off). The simplicity of use and the bargain price of this coffeemaker makes this a must-have. The white coffeemaker is the best - the light color makes it simple to monitor the inside of the water reservoir for any evidence of mold. No matter how thoroughly i keep it clean, and no matter how diligently I keep the reservoir dry (I even leave the lid open between uses), that nasty pink mold will inevitably show up after about 6 months of use (just like any humidifiers we have ever tried). Since this coffeemaker this is sold at a bargain price of less than $18 a pop, I simply replace it when the mold appears. I go through an average of 2 coffeemakers a year - so what? Think about it - thats still less than $36 a year. Prefer black? I recommend you initially buy one of each color, and then use the white one first - just to see how long before it begins to show growth of mold - then toss it out, and break out the black one - now you know how long to use it before its time to replace.

On my third day of use, while toweling the inside of the cool carafe dry, the whole pot broke, handle and all.

this review is not about the product itself. Instead, it is about getting a damaged unit. Not sure if it is cause of Wal-Mart or other carriers, bit the coffee machine I got wouldn't turn on and looked used.

Do not like the design! Having to move the water transfer spigot back and forth to access the coffee brew basket is tedious!!! The free floating coffee brew basket makes taking the carafe out to pour coffee a total pain....ugh!

The good part is it does shut off automatically so if you want hot water as I use it for, it's great. The top sweats all the time so i have to wipe it often. It was cheap to buy so you get what you pay for.
