mr. coffee #4 basket-style coffee filter; pk1 gtf2-1

I have a small 4 cup Mr. Coffee machine that came with a small basket like this. Works wonderful. I ordered another Mr. Cofee machine with larger capacity and it did not come with a basket - I ordered the basket for my bigger machine as well. So easy to clean too. S. Ogden

I've been using this for awhile now. It makes coffee taste so good. There is no paper to absorb some of coffee, so you get better tasting coffee and you help the environment. The mesh is very fine and I have no issue with coffee grounds getting into my pot. This was the best thing I could buy for my standard coffee maker.

This solved all of our problems we were having with standard paper filters. With the paper filters the coffee always overflowed over the top of the filter and grounds would end up in the coffee. This basket is sturdy and rigid and with the lip at the top we haven't had any over-flow issues. Very easy to clean and obviously re-usable so no more paper filters! Highly recommend

I HAVE HAD THIS COFFEE MAKES FOR ABOUT 6 WEEKS...NOT ALOT OF BELLS & WHISTLES WHICH I WANTED AND IT MAKES A GREAT CIP OF COFFEE. I PURCHASED SEPERATELY ON LINE THE PERMANENT FILTER AND THAT IS GREAT IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO DEAL WITH PAPER FILTERS. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR AN EASY 1-2-3 COFFEE MAKER THAT CREATES A VERY GOOD POT6 OF COFFEE THIS IS THE ONE TO BUY.

Finally bought a new coffee filter along with new water filters an both products make a diff in taste! The cost is minimal compared to the taste

A long time back, Buick automobile coined an advertisement most appropriate for the Gold Tone Filter. "When a better filter - (automobile) is built, Mr. Coffee (Buick) will buid it."

i bought this as I had hard time finding deep enough paper filters. Do not care for it, causes coffee grounds to overspill while brewing. It needs to have screening on the bottom so that it drains evenly.

I bought this to help solve the overflow problem with grounds, unfortunately it did not work. I found that by using Bunn filters which are taller the overflow problem is solved.

The filter serves its purpose. The filter handle was tight and it broke when I was trying to straighten it out. I use it without a handle. This the first Mr. Coffee, coffee maker, I have owned. I am very pleased with the design and operation. It works better than more expensive units I have owned. I would give the coffee maker 4.5 - 5 stars.

We wanted to replace our 20 year old filter that looked just like the picture. What we were sent was a generic filter with a solid bottom that was smashed. They replaced this with an intact one shipped in a box but it is still not what is pictured on the website. The generic one is very difficult to clean and leaks a lot of grounds into the pot. They need to at least display the actual picture but the best would be a return to the excellent product they sold 20 years ago.
