Mr. Coffee VBX23 Black 12-Cup Coffee Maker Brewer NEW

I bought this Mr Coffee online as I could not find a white one in the stores. I wanted a 12 cup, white, Mr Coffee. Found it here. I really like the Mr Coffee for the great brew and taste of my coffee. The carafe pours without spills, a big plus. I really like the buttons on this model. Easy to see and easy to clean and push. Like the time feature. Some say they are upset there is no back-light on the clock. Not a big deal for me, I can see it fine. Love the auto shut off...just in case I forget to turn off. Would buy again, again, and again.

This Mr. Coffee was exactly what I was looking for! Couldn't find one in the stores or anywhere else for that matter. I was looking for a white coffee maker with one must have, which is the automatic shut off! This one has both and more!

after using the basic Mr. Coffee maker for years, my wife decided we needed to upgrade to the auto shut off model, since we are getting older and might forget to turn it off. Bought the upgraded model, same great coffee maker and now I don't have to check to see if I turned it off... has anyone seen where I left my glasses!!!!?????

When ever my coffee pot is a couple years old I always buy a new one and it always seems Mr Coffee is my brand of choice. I'm sure it would last a lot longer but I change up my kitchen colors occasionally. My last one was black,now I'm white. I'd love to have a dark blue model come out soon!! That would be my next color scheme...or red!!!

Had I followed the negative reviews, I never would have purchased the product. However, so what if the digital clock doesn't have a back light? Use your watch or look at the micro or the oven or your phone! This coffee machine is wonderful and it's not loud and it has saved us so much time with presenting our coffee brewing time in the morning. Love it. Does not come with the basket so I used my old one.

Upgraded to this model because of the programable option. Works great and love the fact of waking up to fresh brewed coffee! Would like to see more stable footing on the machine so it won't slide around as much. I understand that this was done cause people slide their coffee makers all over their counter-tops, but still shouldn't move around so much. A tip, do not buy the gold metal filter. It bends and deforms when cleaning making it much more difficult. I bought a plastic framed one with cloth netting from my local grocery store. It has more openings, cleans better, and filters coffee much better. But as far as the coffee maker, great machine! Just keep that heating pad dry and wipe off any coffee that drips on it when you remove the pot. If you don't, that pad will rusty and ugly fast!!! Enjoy...great for the price!

Wonderful coffee. Simple to use. I bought this a few weeks ago. We regularly make 8 to 10 cups each morning. I bought the water filter also. It doesn't prove the taste. It fits under the counter however I have to slide it all the way to the edge of the counter to be able to open the top. That's the only downside. Love the delay feature. Sometimes there will be a drop of coffee after you pull the carafe out if you were pouring while it is still brewing. Are usually wife that with a paper towel to keep the burner plate clean

While I basically am satisfied with this machine, there are design issues that I would change if I could. The lid is so tall that I have to bring it forward at an angle on my counter so it doesn't hit the top cabinets. It needs thorough drying inside the water well so as not to get mouldy

The additional feature I want/prefer, is the "LED" clock face NOT the "LCD" clock face. The "LED" clock face shows better in day/night light. And is pictured on web site and the box it arrives in. So, yes it does what it is made to do, and is good at it..but its annoying that received item is not what is photographed and how it was previously made. Web site description does not comment on the clock, nor do the customer service people know.

A completely different model was sent than the one listed and described and rated highly by Consumer Reports. The only thing I like about it is the bright clock display. It drips too much on the cup interrupt. The carafe is awkward to hold when filling with water. Difficult to get rid of the "plastic" taste. Does not keep coffee warm enough . Auto shut-off is 4 hrs vs. 2 hrs; cooks to sludge.
