While these work best for light cutting; flowers from the garden, they are definitely not for major pruning as in rose branches, hard wood type plant. Great for arthritic hands because they have rubber type coated handles that help a lot with "keeping your grip." multi use, too! i use them to trim my indoor plants as well as prepare flowers for display before putting them in a vase. very good clean cutting, beats scissors ✂️ by far! lastly, they have a safety lock for when you close them.
Almost everything is wonderful with these clippers. The little slide locking thing is so easy to slide that it constantly slides while I am clipping. That stops the blade from nipping. Yes, I am happy with them. Yes, I would buy them again.
I chill at the grow store, you can find me up on the shelf. Waiting for someone to pick me up %26 bring me out to the farm, Just so i can Help. I've done felt the stickiest, oh ya! chillin with the growers who live up on the hill. Grippin on the plastic cuttin with this cold steel, growin No till. Outdoor! Indoor! Anywhere! It don't matter the style or the place you grow. Whenever it's Harvest time I'ma be there. Penetrating through these branches, I'm the one that cuts it down so it can hang. Marinating in a glass of rubbin alcohol I'm about to do my thang. It dont matter the strain I got this! Trimmin! Ya, that's what my job is.
These are top notch pruning shears for my bonzais. They even came with a thank you note for shopping with Mr. Pen. I thought that was really nice!
They were better than I thought!! They're very sharp and I trimmed my banana plant very easy!! Thank you Walmart for carrying this item!!
well made, a good surprise at the price. I'm also surprised to see a note to contact them at the enclosed qr code with any issues. used them and pleased with the results on flower trimmings.
Compared to a similar pruning shear I have these fail in comparison. They don't always close completely, I don't know why. The locking mechanism seems to be the issue, it slides up and down when I'm using them which does not help trimming small delicate stems.
Not as sharp as I thought they would be but does a good job on getting smaller leaves off my vegetable plants..
I like that they arrived on time. They are sharp and pruning the bushes around my house was easy. They fit my hand well and felt solid.
Unless you have a hand the size of a 3 year old, don't buy these. Not only are they too small for an adult, but because of the size, your hand continually slides down the handles. That in turn puts your skin right in between the handles and pinches your skin badly. They were sharp to start with, but I didn't even get through one Lily patch before they got so dull they no longer cut. Even at this price point, they aren't worth it. Don't bother! Terrible!
