Mr. Pen Retractable 9' Compass Circle Cutter with Adjustable Blade

I purchased this item actually for my baking needs. I have been making really flat short cakes of late and I have been using this compass to cut perfect circles in various sizes consistently so I can stack short cake layers in between frosting layers. The only thing I wish I could do is extend the needle and the knife so I can make thicker cut layers, but this does really help.

It does what it's supposed to do. I need it to do smaller circles, however, I was able to configure it so it worked great. What impressed me about this cutter is the company that stands behind it.

It works well once you get used to it

I wish it were a lot easier to keep it in place while you change dia. of the circle to make a gasket. Very hard to find the right center again, such a tiny hole made for the center start.

I want a refund on this item. My husband and I both tried it and both felt like an accident was about to happen. It's dangerous!
