There is mixed messaging on whether this is the original formula of MR. Pibb or a new look for Pibb Xtra. The actual truth is that it is neither. They made it have slightly more caffeine and sugar in this new 3rd formula. The biggest difference is the removal of the cinnamon, which was was the "XTRA" was. I always thought the cinnamon made XTRA have an after taste. While it may not be the same formula as either, the kicken' s Cherry of MR. Pibb tastes way better than the "spicy cherry" cinnamon flavor that is Pibb Xtra. Thanks coke! Finally a great product!

Step aside, Dr Pepper you disgusting soda now comes the time of Mr. Pibb. Mr. pig doesn't need fancy degrees to make a good soda. It just needs to be Mr. Pibb as Stan Smith said this is the soda that you could drink a beer with. Don't hesitate don't wait run don't walk to get Mr. Pibb.

Since you open it, it has a sweet cherry aroma that feels very pleasant. When you try it, the flavor is intense, refreshing and with that classic cherry touch that stands out from the first sip.

It tastes like the original Mr. Pib with cherry flavor. It has the right amount of carbonation and sweetness. My kids really enjoy drinking this with a lunchtime meal. These are well worth the price.
