[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not had a chance to get a photo as by the time i had it out the slime was all over, my little one was quiet for around an hour thoroughly enjoyed playing with this. Its messy but a messy kid is a happy kid and he keeps telling all his friends about it. The slime we have kept and put it back in the tube to save for another go later very compatible and would recommend.

The instructions were surprisingly clear and straightforward, so he could follow along without getting frustrated, which made it very age-appropriate and compatible for him. He jumped right into experimenting, and I loved seeing how proud he was doing most of it on his own. The durability also impressed me — the pieces felt sturdy enough to handle his excitement and didn't fall apart even after a few rounds of heavy use. Watching him mix and match different ‘mutations' kept him engaged for much longer than I expected, and he's still going back to it days later. Watching the liquid change from a cloudy, milky purple to reveal the Fire Panther was pure magic. They followed each step of the instructions with care, and the fingerprint scanner was hands-down their favourite part—it made them feel like real scientists unlocking a secret creature. After the reveal, they even washed out the chamber so they could play again and again. The Fire Panther was a huge hit, especially because it reminds them of our ginger cat, Buddy. Now we're officially on a mission to collect the rest!

Instructions are clear and easy with pictures provided for children to participate with following. The chamber shows a blue mutant. Blue liquid gets poured into the side compartment, the top is twisted and then there is a very cool smoky effect that takes place in the chamber before revealing the mutant, in our case we had the fire one. My 8 year old was very impressed and couldn't believe how it had changed! Left over liquid was clear and poured straight down the sink. All in all, a very cool, unique toy with no mess!

The figure itself went straight into playtime, which was a big win. I only marked it down a star because from a parent's view, there is quite a lot of packaging for a fairly quick reveal, but the reaction did make it worthwhile. Great for kids who love surprise toys and collectibles.

The toy comes with a tube of bright liquid, so ensure that young children aren't left alone with the toy. The outside packaging needs to be removed so that you can see the magic happen in real time or you will miss the big reveal. The process is short so there is only limited excitement. The toy is colourful and durable, but not something my little boy is overly excited about playing with as he's not into action figures much.

The packaging looks cool, and the science experiment made it really interactive. But that was it. There is so much wasted plastics, and the kit is all single use, so for £30 you are left with a small prety average figure. I wouldn't be repurchasing and wish all the plastic was recyclable as that is a terrible waste.
