I thought unless it's 100% homemade, stuffing is stuffing. I usually get the walmart brand. Or stove top. But I decided to try seasoned turkey flavor stuffing to go with some turkey....DAYUM this stuffing was AMAZING! okay, its still just stuffing. I used turkey broth. Onion and celery with this box mix and it was so good that my sister who says "she's not a stuffing person " ate most of it LOL. like it's so flavorful that I dont think I'm going back to generic ever again. I'm going to get the other flavors...herb is next. Just yum.
Best stuffing I've used for 46 yrs and my mother did as well great just add your carrots celery onions mushrooms if you like sauté in butter then add on top of cubes add your broth mix well your done one box is great for up to a 16 pound turkey or you can prepare as directed on box or a casserole if you don't like to stuff your bird the consistency is great the serving portions are generous
I h ave been using Mrs. Cubbison's Seasoned Turkey Stuffing Mix for 25 years and it has never let me down. Yes even the Mothrt-in-Law loves it. I buy extra turkey parts and boil them for more turkey juice for additional gravy and flavor for my dressing. \Buy two boxes and buy early so you don't find it sold out. Bless you on Thanksgiving.JF
I ordered this brand because the Pepperidge Farms seasoned stuffing is often out of stock. I did not think it was as well seasoned. It seemed a little bland. The bread cubes themselves were great and had I known I could have also purchased some spices to season it. Next year I'll have to remember to look for Pepperidge Farms in October because getting it for my turkey in November or December is almost impossible.
This makes the best stuffing. Always the best flavor and consistency! Great price and convenient, and I've used this before so I know how good tasting it is. Family appreciates the great stuffing this makes. The price is great, too.
I've been using Mrs. Cubbins for years. A family favorite. Thanksgiving it's complete without it. Add fresh onions, celery, wow. I will not switch, it's so delicious.
I can honestly say I tasted them all. Mrs. Cubbison Stuffing is the best. The flavors, the presentation, the overall ease to prepare. Love it! I can't wait for Turkey Day and Christmas. Do get it, you won't regret it, ever.
Pretty good. I did add a lot more dried herbs to it, as it seemed only faintly seasoned to me (though the salt was definitely enough). Also, a pretty large portion of the cubes had been reduced to crumbs before the item reached me, and I would definitely choose not to add those next time (so far as possible) as they turned into a clumpy, unappetizing mass.
It was given to me as a substitute for another product. I made it according to the recipe and it was super dry. Had to add an additional 1.5c of broth. The taste was different and not the seasonings my family and I are used to. We did not like it and I would have preferred no substitution.
I bought this for my Easter dinner I was making a roast chicken and wanted to make some cornbread stuffing with sauteed diced apples and celery the pepperidge farm stuffing in the store is pretty tasting so I thought I'd try this it wasn't gritty but I didn't add as much water or liquid as it said I need to have water and half chicken stock cuz you can always add more if it's too dry you can't take it out if it's too wet so you know I had enough and then I added a little bit extra you know a little bit at a time but it was like Bush and the color was nasty looking you wouldn't want to eat it the color it's not appealing at all I threw it in the garbage immediately after tasting it I'll just stick to the regular peppers from traditional stuffing I guess is there cornbread stuffing is too pretty so thought I'd try this one and I don't like the stove top box stuffing I like it it's very good and easy to make but it has dehydrated onions in it and I hate body into those things I I hate onions but save your money don't buy this unless you like eating mush with no flavor and a yucky color
