I use to use different dryer sheets I have tried them all over the years ... as a person with allergies that certain smells can trigger a headache these are fantastic ... Smell is light and NOT over powering at all ... Plus my clothes come out of the dryer with hardly any perfumed smell ... I like the fact that they have no artificial colors and the use of plant based softnerers is a real plus for me. BTW there is no static in clothing ever. no fresh scent at all and no difference in Softness or wrinkles as compared to other fabric softeners.

Anyone who has ever smelled true lavender will know with one sniff this does not smell like lavender at all. /listed on the "ingredients" are: "Fragrance (coumarin, geraniol, limonene, linalool), Lavendula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Peel Oil . . . " The lavender oil is silenced by these other fragrances that are more potent leading the sheets to smell like a woodsy or insect repellant. It in no way smells even remotely like lavender. I also bought the soy candle and it has the same hideous fragrance. Mrs. Meyers seldom disappoints, but this time she really missed the mark by miles.

Not sure if I got a bad batch but it was not the lavander fragrance that I had grown accustomed to. It really stinks, and not in a good way. I would not purchase again, since there is a chance that they simply changed the lavender fragrance to save money. Inflation can make companies change ingredients.
