My daughter uses these to make pinto beans. The salsa mix spices them up nicely. Very convenient and the beans come out great. I don't know if she's used them to make salsa.

First let me say that the "to go shopper" who did my shopping needs to return to school and learn the differences between fresh tomatoes and Mrs. Wages Homemade Salsa Mix. They are NOT the same thing. The only reason I didn't return the item or complain about it was because I truly like Mrs. Wages Homemade Salsa Mix! I've used this seasoning mix for a few decades that I can remember, and I can never remember any time that I did not like the flavor. I normally use it to add zest to my homemade chili-mac, or taco meat. On occasion I have even used it to liven up my chili beans. I used it once in a salad dressing (vinigar %26 oil with a few other fresh spices) The natural flavors are retained with the method of dehydrating that is used to make the seasoning, and those flavors sort of 'pop' when the mix is added to whatever is being cooked! Interesting enough, I've never tried it in canning or making salsa! The seasoning I received was a medium heat, leaning towards mild (My tastes, maybe not yours.) They also have mild and hot. Since I did not order this seasoning, I can honestly say I was surprised that I selected what I like! Not too mild, and not too hot. Yea me! If I am at a moment in time that I want a Dehydrated salsa mix, I will select Mrs. Wages Homemade salsa mix. Every time!

I have used Mrs. Wages seasonings for many years and the salsa is the best. Never mind chips, just a spoon and the jar!! It is that good! And super easy!

This is so much better than canned pizza sauce. If you're hesitating to buy it don't it's absolutely amazing! It makes a large amount so I freeze it in small containers

Using this mix, some tomatoes and a little vinegar I can make fresh salsa in a matter of minutes with my food processor. I throw roma tomatoes in just halved and pulse it for a few minutes off and on. Makes a tasty treat that can fill a few 32 ounce mason jars. I can snack on this for a week before I make more.

It's a great base to start with to add more items that in the end is yummy chunky salsa. It would be nice if the store would sell the Mild Salsa variety so I wouldn't have to order it online for those of us who love salsa but prefer the milder flavoring.

Great mix, easy easy to make. I adapt by adding can of whole corn and c as n of rinsed black beans. Addd excellent flavor to recipe

Really like the taste of this sauce. You can taste the spices, but they aren't too strong. It's sweet, but not too sweet. I used canned tomatoes and it was very easy to make. I canned my jars and several did not seal. I'll freeze the sauce next time I make this.

Someone packaged both salsa that were opened, into the bag. When I opened it there was powder all in the inside and all over the bags. I'm not happy about the condition if the products I've been ordering for delivery, makes me think they are using this ploy to giet rid of their damages, because I sure wouldn't put in my cart damaged.
