First let me say that the "to go shopper" who did my shopping needs to return to school and learn the differences between fresh tomatoes and Mrs. Wages Homemade Salsa Mix. They are NOT the same thing. The only reason I didn't return the item or complain about it was because I truly like Mrs. Wages Homemade Salsa Mix! I've used this seasoning mix for a few decades that I can remember, and I can never remember any time that I did not like the flavor. I normally use it to add zest to my homemade chili-mac, or taco meat. On occasion I have even used it to liven up my chili beans. I used it once in a salad dressing (vinigar %26 oil with a few other fresh spices) The natural flavors are retained with the method of dehydrating that is used to make the seasoning, and those flavors sort of 'pop' when the mix is added to whatever is being cooked! Interesting enough, I've never tried it in canning or making salsa! The seasoning I received was a medium heat, leaning towards mild (My tastes, maybe not yours.) They also have mild and hot. Since I did not order this seasoning, I can honestly say I was surprised that I selected what I like! Not too mild, and not too hot. Yea me! If I am at a moment in time that I want a Dehydrated salsa mix, I will select Mrs. Wages Homemade salsa mix. Every time!

This is so much better than canned pizza sauce. If you're hesitating to buy it don't it's absolutely amazing! It makes a large amount so I freeze it in small containers

I have used Mrs. Wages seasonings for many years and the salsa is the best. Never mind chips, just a spoon and the jar!! It is that good! And super easy!

came on Time I think it should be listed as hot instead of medium. But still taste great. Would recommend as Long as you can get by the heat.

this is an amazing product, I use it following the ball canning standards and make enough to fill my pantry each fall to last me the winter.

Great mix, easy easy to make. I adapt by adding can of whole corn and c as n of rinsed black beans. Addd excellent flavor to recipe

makes the best pizza sauce ive ever eaten. Great way to use up all those tomatoes in the garden. ive made 2 batches so far and plan to make more for the winter. absolutely delicious 😋

This might be a great product, however I purchased it online through Walmart (and a secondary seller) and the product arrived to me with water and possible heat damage. The bag was discolored and appeared dirty and old. The package crumbled in my hand and the store issued me a full refund. Thats the only reason for my one star review
