The GPU was purchased as MSRP (1k) and has been a great performer. RTX 5080 is the third most powerful GPU in terms of power level, and a great purchase for any gamer to run most games at 4k settings at >60 fps without too much fiddling. Just remember to pair it with a decent CPU processor, with x3d parts being the best ones for gaming currently.
This card with DLSS 4.5 features can handle anything you toss at it. I have a 4090 in another system and I haven't run into a situation where this card feels like a step backwards.
Super fast card and runs all my games at 4k. the 3x cooler keeps everything running cool and quiet. The build feels premium, easy install and easy to update. Definitely happy with this.
Awesome product, will definitely buy again.
Got what I ordered. Package was in good condition and it only took about 4 days. The card is an absolute beast.
I chose this GPU for the minimalist aesthetic and the full black shroud, and it did not disappoint. It looks great in my build and I couldn't have asked for a better price in today's market; An OC edition, and I was able to snag it for $1000. My only complaint, and the reason for my 4 star review, is that it lacks dual bios.
it doesn't come with the free game. good deal otherwise. Walmart isn't an authorized retailer even if it's sold and shipped by Newegg.
Great card performance wise, still runs cool with the SFF design. It's pretty much a Ventus OC with a cheaper shroud, very cheap feeling plastic all around, no metal back plate you know, 'MSPR' type of card which this is not. 4/5 if this card was priced at $999 which it should be, do better MSI. At $1249 or $1350 after tax this just feels too cheap. Just a premium model or a Ventus at that point. If you can pick it up for MSRP $999 highly recommend or if you in desperate need for a SFF black 5080 then pick it up.
Exceptional graphics card, but this model specifically is massively overpriced for the build quality ($250 over MSRP). - Power limit is locked to 100%, so you can only slightly overclock if you undervolt it. - Fully plastic and feels fairly cheap. - Runs about 70°C stock, which is okay especially if you undervolt. - Included anti-sag bracket - Clean style and no lights or RGB. - Respectable size.
Made sure everything was connected properly upgraded my pay from 850 to a 1000 did a clean install of the nvidia drivers and nothing but constant black screens. Would turn on the computer and sometimes would get no signal to the monitor switched out the cable even checked the monitor with another device. Even checked the sticks of ram. These constant black screens came up after switching out my 3080 to a 5080
