Mucinex DM 12 Hour Max Strength Expectorant & Cough Medicine, Excess Mucus Relief, FSA, 14 Tablets

This is great for getting up phlegm and cough mucus quickly and effectively. They are worth the money that you pay for them. They are rather big, but are very easy to swallow. They do not leave an aftertaste. The one suggestion I would make to users is that they will dry you out so make sure that you drink a lot of water to stay dehydrated. Also it seems to work faster the more water that you drink.

Different people prefer different cold and flu medicines with different formulas and more. The same would be said of cough drops in general because of taste, texture, level of menthol, etc. This is my elderly father's absolute favorite brand and the one his body responds to best. Even though the generic brands have the exact same ingredients, he prefers this Mucinex brand name and perhaps due to the texture and taste. He can have a scratchy throat and tickles, migraine pain, and other cold and flu symptoms, and this is what he reaches for. It works for him, so that's great. Anything for Dad!

I used to be a strong believer in DayQuil and NyQuil, but since COVID, I've switched to this. It works wonders on clearing my sinuses so I can function during the day and sleep well at night. I also love that one pill lasts 12 hours. Highly recommend!

The 1200 strength gauifenesin w/60 mg dextromethorphan HBr is by far the best at clearing up painful sinus congestion before it turns into a sinus infection. I keep it on hand due to severe allergies and fighting off chronic sinus infection. It has reduced greatly the need for getting to the stage requiring antibiotics. It makes a huge difference when you already suffer from a multitude of headache types of migraines. I highly recommend it.

After COVID I had a persistent cough. This product really helped with the cough and loosening the mucus. It was the only reason I got any sleep for about a week. I also tried the generic. The actual mucisex capsule was much easier to swallow than the generic. I would highly recommend it.

This works well to help relieve stuffiness and congestion. It works better than many cold and cough medications. However, it's really expensive. The generic brand works just as well. This product does cause constipation if used more than three days.

That does exactly what it's supposed to gets. The mucus out of your lungs, and it works great. I take it at night before I go to bed.

I'm a huge fan of Mucinex but you have to find the right kind for you. I personally have trouble coughing phlegm up. Sorry I know that is disgusting but I do. I have trouble getting things out of my lungs and so for me they have I believe it's a pectorum (spelled wrong )that is what I look for. I'm always a little confused about what I want. Some people do not want to cough during the day so they look for the one that says it will help them stop coughing, that is never the one that I want because it can get stuck in your lungs and I get bronchitis a lot and I need something to help me open my airways. That loosens congestion. This product is does both. It's supposed to loosen and also help you stop coughing. Not sure how, but I ordered it for a family member and I felt like they did have more drainage because they weren't having any drainage before they took it and were able to cough but then they were also able to sleep without coughing keeping them up. You just have to find the right Mucinex product for you that you're looking for, but I do think that Mucinex is a great product.
