It's a good product. Easy to assemble. I recommend putting the nuts and bolts on hand tight until it's completely assembled. Lock nuts aren't designed to be removed and reinstalled. I was able to put it up by myself. Bring extra ratchet straps and use them to secure the stand every few feet as you climb up to secure the seat to the tree or else you might fall with the stand.

Purchased two Muddy XLT stands. These stands are loud, flimsy and weak. The top rail has a weight limit of 15 pounds. I weigh 185 and can't lean against the top rail without it moving. The seat has a bar in the middle that prevents you from sitting in the middle. It isn't a comfortable stand in the least. The stand fit isn't tight. You can't climb the stand without excessive noise. Two person? Only if one is a child. Overall quality definitely isn't what I expected from Muddy.

the instructions are horrible it took me two hours to assemble it..because bolt and screw was mape out clearly..and metal tubing is very thin ..i do not seeing last very long inn outdoor because of it rusting ..i rather pay extra $30 and more thicker tubing .sometimes will last longer basically going have paint every year ...i wouldn't recommend this to my buddy's poorly made steel material

Very noisy: climbing, standing, moving around, etc. Plastic washers don't allow for sufficient torque to eliminate metal to metal creaking AND the male femalejoints are not close enough in size (sloppy). VERY frustrating. I taped the joints with duct tape and still way too loud ... especially an hr before daylight on a cold calm morning!!

doesnt feel safe at all. I put it together just like directions said. Also doesnt seem as roomy as previous double stands I have purchased. Seat is very uncomfortable. If u wanted to sit in the middle, you couldn't becasue there is a bar there. They made it like 2 different seats. Yes its a double stand for 2 people, but like i said its not very roomy. So if you do use it by yourself u may need to sit more towards the middle and you cant because theres the bar...

The seat would not fit at all. The seat is a strong cloth but was over an inch short on both ends. Had to get much longer screws and redesign the whole seat. Shame on Muddy for putting their name on this deer stand. Why allow your good brand to be sold cheaper when it could cause an accident because people don't want to deal with returning it after 2 days of trying to put it together ? It's a waste of time and money!!!

This is the worst purchase I have ever made from Wal-Mart. Obviously someone had previously returned this item and it was sent to me missing parts. construction is very poor on this item. I am extremely disappointed. Will never order a ladder stand from Wal-Mart again.

Muddy should be ashamed to market this as a 2 person stand. If you are 5 ft tall and weigh 112 lbs this might be for 2 people. Being 6-1 and 250 there is no way an additional person could sit here much less comfortably. The stand on its on is extremely uncomfortable. The back bar is right in the middle of your back. There is a scene in the movie "life" with Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence where they make them stand barefoot on coke bottles . I can imagine that this is almost as uncomfortable as this deer stand. I have already assembled this and walked it deep into the woods, so I will keep it through the end of this season, and replace it next year. If I could disassemble and return it I would, but it is not realistic at this time. I do not recommend this product.

Took it out of the box and couldn't even start putting it together because welds were already busted! If being in the box breaks welds, I couldn't imagine what would happen with a person in it on a windy day. This is dangerous!

They drilled the wrong side of a support bar so the bolt wouldn’t go through. I emailed the company who makes it and never heard back after numerous weeks… I hope Walmart will contact seller and have them send me the part with hole being drilled on the correct side… Second picture shows how that bar was drilled correctly but not the first picture. I could only use one of the two supports and need the second one to be safe
