Muddy "The Viking" Hang-On Tree Stand, Lightweight

Seems to be very well made. Easiest assembly I've ever seen. Every nut and polt is labled aand packaged separately for easy assembly. Should be an industry standard. Definitely ordering another one

Could lift with one arm and set the mounting hook at the end of the main strap while standing on two screw in steps. It was so easy that it could be moved in minutes when the deer trails shifted from white oak to red oak etc...and the packaging kept blood off the floor when butchering the first deer harvested with one of these stands! Great product!

quality stand, easy to assemble

My one complaint is that to attach it to the tree it uses a pull strap, hanging 20 feet up and trying to attach it securely is difficult. Just bring your own when setting it up. Or Muddy should just change to that. Overall its just big enough stand on and is light enough to easily haul up a tree. I am 190 pounds and fit and it works for me, I also bring a small seat cushion no matter what stand I use because the seat will be wet. Not an all day stand but several hours you will be fine.

I got 2 one for my husband and his dad they are decent nothing special they are light and easy to wag around in the bottom but the put together was challenging ill take cheap tools that come with them anyday but having to go find this and that i dont like it takes 2 different sizes and reading the direction are a must or you will have bolts in wrong place and it upside down my husband put his together and i put his dads i was done in 28 mins him haha i had to take it all apart and back together again read the directions it will save headache

It's sturdy.good for the price.my only issue with it is where the platform meets the tree they could've made it tougher because the metal dents in a bit on both sides.doesn't affect how it works,though.

not bad for the value. instructions are straight forward. seat is a little small and uncomfortable when sitting for long hours, highly recommend a cushion of some sort.

Very nice lightweight stand, and very easy to hang. I'm not a big fan of the slip thru straps that come with these but I guess they work. I feel it needs a second strap at the bottom as well. I just added my own ratchet strap at the bottom. Makes the stand feel much more secure. I definitely think it is worth the money spent.

Please don't buy this. This stand is cheap, thin metal, and very noisy. Unfortunately I got sucked into this money trap. Buy anything other than this stand. Any animal, including deer will hear the slightest weight shift within 50 yards. I'm extremely disappointed in myself. I should know better than to look for the budget tree stand. Save yourself a weekend.

I was excited to get this stand set up for an upcoming hunt, but unfortunately, my experience has been nothing short of disappointing. The very first time I sat on the seat, the weld for the metal bracket that supports the seat broke. I'm well under the weight limit, so this shouldn't have happened, and frankly is super dangerous. With hunting season in full swing, I don't have the time to take it down and deal with returns. I had to rig it up with ratchet straps just to make it functional, but now I'm left hoping it holds. I regret cutting corners on such an important piece of equipment—being 20 feet up in the air is no place to gamble on quality. Do yourself a favor and invest in a better stand. Don't make the same mistake I did. I'm stuck with it for now and have virtually no way to return it mid-season.
