Muddy Warrior DXT 1-Man Ladder Stand, 17ft

Most affordable ladder stand I could find. Comes with a safety fall harness and tree strap that will check the box if that is required for where you hunt. The mesh seat width is pretty narrow, listed as 17” on the box, so if you are a wider person this may not be the most comfortable for you. Once ratcheted to the tree and all stabilizer straps and support bar tightened it's decently sturdy. Total weight 43 pounds, assembled the seat at the house, fit nicely flat under the rails of my truck bed and under my Tonneau cover, then carried it out to my spot with seat over the shoulder and 3 piece ladder tied together in the other hand like a briefcase. Seems like it will get the job done just fine, will update if any problems occur during the season. Worth the investment and great starter stand for anyone getting their foot in the door for hunting. Went into purchasing this as a shot in the dark as at the time of purchase and also writing this review, the listing has no pictures or description. Was pleasantly surprised from Muddy. Paid about $110.

This Muddy Warrior DXT 1-Man Ladder Stand is sturdy, well-built, and feels very secure once installed. Assembly was straightforward, and the instructions were clear enough to get it set up without frustration. The ladder feels stable all the way up, which is important when climbing to 17 feet. The seat is comfortable enough for longer sits, and the overall design feels well thought out. It doesn't flex or wobble, and once it's strapped in, it stays put. For the price, the quality and durability are impressive. If you're looking for a reliable ladder stand that's easy to assemble and built to last, this one is a great choice. well the stand is light and easy to put up, but at the attachment points for the ladder there's alot of wiggling, and very noisy climbing up.. doesn't not feel sod solid. regret buying it.. the seat is ok. Just alittle to small but works. the foot platform is really small.. your feet hangover bc is so small unless you wear a size 5 or 6.. so trying to turn ans stand is rough bc you're standing on the foot rest at thw same time.

A lot of hard work was needed to assemble and get sturdy against a tree. Many bolt holes didn't line up and I had to pry a few times with a crowbar to be able to assemble. Bought 2 and 1 still in box. Don't want to have to try to assemble other one.

bad welds and flimsy construction

Complete trash welds failed while at the top cause serious injuries and of course muddy won't do anything about it.

The ladder is super flimsy and broke in half when we were standing it up I would not recommend anyone use this stand. I wish I could return it but it is all assembled and I threw the box away.

WARNING!!! Do not buy this tree stand! Completely made out of cheap metal and you will get hurt if you decide to sit in it. One of the most dangerously cheapest treestands I have ever put together. Muddy outdoors should be ashame of their self for putting this treestand out on the market!

I own 12 ladder stands. Thus is the least sturdy of all of them . For $114 you get what you pay for. I didn't take a pic but the one section of ladder has holes drilled. Why they drilled holes in a ladder section is beyond me. If you want a cheap ladder stand this is the one. Make sure you use a safety harness in this one.

I found out after I purchased this crappy and dangerous stand that this company has an F rating from the Better Business Bureau and they have that for a reason. I cannot believe Walmart would sell products from a company with an F rating and put their customers in jeopardy. The stand had a defective part and when I contacted them they kept making promises of replacing the product. They never did and when I researched their reviews many other people have the same problem with them. They are a scam operation and Walmart is no better for selling this product and allowing me to lose over $120 for something I cannot use. Nobody will take responsibility. Spend the extra money and get a Big Game stand. They are worth it and comfortable. And don't buy anything from Walmart. They are just as shady and won't stand behind what they sell. PS, This product is also dangerous according to other reviews where the stands break with people in them. I am going to have to sue to get my money back and I will.
