These are great in my muller back strap. I put it in every morning when I get up and gets my morning back ache to go away. Usually I can get through the day time evening and I'll put it back on
The item was as promised, but shipping charges seemed high for such a small item.
My teenage son plays high school Lacrosse and takes a beating. This cold/hot pack is a life saver for helping ease pain and speed up recovery. It retains both heat and cold far longer than I thought while staying flexible. Most ice packs are stiff and uncomfortable, but when this is frozen it is still very pliable and can form to shoulders, knees, etc. without the mess of bags of ice.
A must have! It is malleable to lay across exactly where you need it. Doesn't feel like a hard rock. Stays cold for a few hours. No need for anything extra to wrap it in, its already in a cloth material so doesn't burn. I found the same results with hot. Lasted a couple hours, molded to skin without burning. The size is perfect to wrap a knee, elbow or shoulder.
I love this pack. I mainly use it as a cold pack and it doesn't take long to cool it off and it stays cool for hours. I've used it for my shoulder and my husband's hand after a work accident. I also used it as a warm pack for our cat after she was spayed and still sore. Just pop it in the microwave on small increments, wrap it in a towel and it kept her comfortable for quite a while. I finally gave her the heating pad and took this back though because I needed it for my shoulder. I love the versatility of it. It's certainly worth its weight in gold to me!
I exercise almost every day. Walking or the elliptical. I am not young anymore and I end up with sore muscles if I don't exercise daily. It rains a lot where I live and so I end up missing days and my muscles let me know. I use this mostly as a hot pack and it really helps me out so much to feel better. Easy to heat up and the heat lasts long to ease my muscle aches. Great size, too.
I am an avid jogger and am prone to sore, achy muscles after my runs. This Meuller Fabric Cold and Hot Pack has been a nice natural way to ease away pain without having to use topical treatments or medications. I especially have pain often on the outside top of my hamstring/glute which is also incidentally the largest muscle in the human body. I love that this pack is amply big enough to cover such a large area like that. Pack measures about 12 inches wide by 7.5 inches tall. I also received a recent vaccine and after my arm became sore, I applied this to the injection site and the cooling relief was amazing. I was concerned about after freezing that this pack might not be malleable and would become unwieldy but from the freezer it is amply pliable and conforms nicely to the targeted area and contours of the body. The inner material does not freeze solidly so after a moment of working and kneading with the hands, it easily flexes. Alternating between cold and hot therapy to maximize recovery is key and this pack works equally well for both cold and hot treatments. I love the outside is fabric and not plastic and I love that it can be applied directly to the affected area without a barrier needed in between the pack and the skin. It stays amply cold or hot for the recommended 15 minutes of application, but I found it did not stay icy or too warm for much longer than that. That is okay for reheating which takes only a few seconds for to refreeze takes up to two hours. Directions are printed conveniently on the pack itself so it is nice there is no need to hang on to a separate instruction booklet.
It's a fabric cold/hot pack which is much nicer than the plastic ones that are available and fairly inexpensive. it holds up decently i get roughly 20-25 mins of cold after pulling it out of the freezer. hot is not as good but does the job. not sure how long it will last but its better than the stuff ive gotten before.
This pack did just the trick when I recently had a massive strained muscle in my neck. In this case I used it mostly for heat, but I really like the option of having one product that can do hot or cold. It's easy to control how hot it gets, and I don't have to be concerned about leaving a heating pad plugged in and falling asleep or something like that. It's soft and comfortable enough to use directly against the skin, and it seems to hold up really well going from heated to freezing and back. Size is versatile. Worked very well for me.
I used it as a hot pack. It started leaking after 6 months of use. So not a very good product.
