It took me a while to find an item like this, that was both hot and cold, and had the soft fabric. I've been trying to replace my old “ace” compress, but they don't seem to make them anymore. The fabric on this one is about as soft as it is on the Ace, which I appreciated. I haven't been using it for very long, so I can't comment on the durability, but so far so good.
I am really enjoying this pack. I have a couple of packs for cold. Neither of them are as malleable as this one, but my real thrill is this one can be either hot or cold. I have not used it cold yet but have used it twice hot and it was great. I tense up in my shoulders and the area between my neck and shoulders gets tight and sore. Putting the heat on it helps me to relax and the heat immediately helps with the soreness. My wife likes it too.
This is my new go to ice pack. It has gotten a lot of use in my family since we got it. One used for icing down sore knee and it was the right size to comfortably mold to the knee. Then next icing a bruised hand from moving outdoor fence. It is better to have a bigger one than trying to spot apply a smaller one so this one was just right. We were thrilled it was only bruised but to keep swelling down this ice pack was the do to. It is flexible for wrapping, holds the cold temp and just feels better than the plastic ice packs of old. I use a paper towel of it and the cover makes it cold without feeling painfully cold right away. So you can ice for a period of time. It now resides in my freezer for the next time.
I love it because the size is great and it keeps the temperature for several hours. Also the fabric cover is very comfortable soft. If you need one of these get this one. You won't be sorry.
I have had shoulder discomfort for years and rely on heating pads for comfort. The only issue is that many heating packs are too small to cover the area that I need. This heating pack is perfect to drape over my shoulder and ease the pain
We use ice packs a lot. This one is a good size and the fabric cover is so comfortable, no need to place a cloth between you skin and the ice pack. Stays cold for a long time.
It has a nice cover and good size. It works great for all areas I use it for.
Like the cloth fabric cover. After removal from freezer it is pliable and will conform to the area needed. Microwaving for heat therapy I microwaved for 30 seconds and then flipped the pack over and did it again for 30 seconds and it was warm enough to be effective. Nice product to keep on hand for either cold or hot packing.
It was fine
