Mueller Typhoon Black Kinesiology Therapeutic Tape, 20 Precut I-Strips

This kinesiology tape is an excellent product. I recently ruptured my ACL during a ski accident, and because of the COVID-19 outbreak, my surgery was cancelled. Until I can schedule my surgery, all I have for support is my big, bulky hinged-brace. I still use my brace most of the time if I'm walking anywhere, but if I'm at home, I like to be able to relax without it, but still have some support. That's where this tape has been so useful! I haven't wanted to use any other compression wraps or anything, because the pressure on my kneecap doesn't feel good, so having this tape to just wrap the sides has been the perfect solution. It's like wearing a brace (almost) but not having the bulk of one! I can see this being very useful after surgery, as well, especially when I'm getting into the real athletic part of the physical therapy, where support will be gladly appreciated. This tape seems to stick really well, but doesn't cause irritation like other adhesive tapes I've used before; t's a nice fabric-like texture with good flexibility but also a good thickness for strength too. Definitely a great product, and I'm sure I'll be using it for the entire year of rehabilitation that I'll do for my knee, and beyond!!

I have a bad Ankle and I have tried all different brands of tape to socks and nothing has helped. This tape actually is helping my ankle I am so glad that I found this. I like the color black and it's great that the tape does not stick to your hair so it's easy for removing. I highly recommend this tape

But this stuff is amazing! I had doubts that it would actually help with my knee and plantar fasciitis, but it turned out that those doubts were unfounded. Works as good as any brace I have ever tried without feeling stuff or constricting. Words of advice: don't use on top of hair (shave the area where it is going to be placed) and although it isn't waterproof it is water resistant.. a hot shower or prolonged swimming and it will come right off.

I found this kinesiology roll tape to be very helpful when the knee ligaments were giving me significant problems. While many therapeutic tapes require a lot of cutting to fit the application, the Mueller brand comes in pre-cut strips on a roll with non-latex adhesive. These strips can be further cut and modified for the specific joint application. The kit contains an extensive list of types of therapy mods for the various problems (ie knee, hip, rotator cuff, etc) encountered. This was very thoughtful. Have tried other kinesiology tape brands but this will be the "go to" tape for us now.

i love this tape. i have a broken foot in an odd place. this helps with pain and being able to walk

I bought this tape to stabilise my outer foot pain. It is easy to apply and easy to compromise the shape . It stays on 2-4 days depending on how wet it gets.

Too expensive Not easy to use or peel Doesn't work for me.

My husband consistently has lower back pain. Very few weeks, I will tape his back for him to help ease the pain. The mueller typhoon kinesiology pre-cut tape was very easy to use. The strips pulled apart easily and did not rip the paper. They were also sticky, but I had to move one and I was able to pull it up and replace it. I used my hands to firmly rub the precut strips to get them to adhere to the skin per the directions. My husband wore them for 5 days. Even through exercising and showering, they held up nicely. The only thing that would have made them better is if the paper on the back had a perforated cut about an inch in where the black line is. When I tried to rip the end off so I could adhere it to the skin before stretching to 75%, the black tape started to stretch out where I tried to rip the paper. The inside instructions also provided several taping methods to help ease pain for different parts of the body.

Have always used the KT tape so like those better.

I have been taping my knee for over a year now and usually use the Equate brand. The store was out so I tried this brand. Absolute garbage! Starts peeling up right away and comes off completely at night. The Equate brand I can wear 2 weeks. Don't waste your money.
