Garbage

Brianna March 30, 2026

Absolutely garbage eggs with a bunch of extra plastic that make it difficult to close and impossible for my toddler to open the ones that do close. The plastic piece that connects the top and the bottom breaks every single time also. Ruined my perception of this brand and I will never purchase anything from them ever again for any holiday.

Defective eggs

Cwat March 23, 2026

The colors are fine, but roughly half of the eggs would not close. It seems to be a manufacturing defect since only certain colors are affected. I ended up taping the defective eggs closed. I would not recommend these eggs.

These Belong in the Trash Just Like Your Ex

Stephanie March 24, 2026

Save yourself and your sanity. DO NOT BUY THESE. I didn't even pay attention to the reviews or rating and I have learned a valuable lesson. These eggs are trash. Most of them are impossible to close. You can get 1 out of every 8 to actually clasp together correctly. Next time I will just spend the extra money and go to Target.

I dont normally write reviews but felt the need to warn everyone. These may seem like a great value and normally shopping at Walmart saves time and money. Not today! Avoid these eggs of you dont want to waste hours of your time. Apparently no one at "Celebrate!" in manufacturing thought to measure that the bottom and top of the eggs fit together. 90% of the bottoms are slightly too big and wont fit in the tops. As you try to cram them together in frustration, some will break and the others that dont break you will want to smash out of anger. Spend the extra $5 and get something else. Literally anything else.

Cheap price, cheaper quality

natalie March 8, 2026

More than half of the eggs were defective and would not close. Seems like a malfunction of specific machines because nearly all of the purple, some of the yellow, and most of the blue and orange were completely unusable. We tried separating the top and bottom pieces, putting equal pressure on each side while pushing them together, and cutting off the extra plastic edges that were lazily left on. I usually have good luck with things that don't have the best ratings, but these just weren't it.

Make sure you have lots of tape!

Amber March 8, 2026

About 40% of the eggs we had in each set couldn't close. After fussing around with them for way too long, we just had to start taping them together. The plastic is super flimsy and the edges don't line up well. If we didn't need these by a certain date, I would've returned them and went somewhere else.

difficult and frustrating to use

Marian March 19, 2026

we bought these for our Lions club easter egg hunt. they cause nothing but frustration trying to get them to close. The larger ones weren't as bad but when it takes 1-2 minutes to try to get one to close tight and you have 2000 eggs to stuff in 1 hour it cause nothing but headaches and bad words. I would not recommend they need to redesign these. we had other brands that had no problems at all.

One third broken

Yvonne March 31, 2026

I am very disappointed in the quality of the eggs. So many were broken and would not close that I had to go get more eggs to make sure I had enough for the egg hunt. At least 40 of the 120 were broken

Terrible eggs

Savanna March 30, 2026

If you have a lot of patience and time then these are a great value but i however don’t have 5 minutes per egg to try and close these things. Never have I ever had so much trouble with a plastic egg. Buy better quality eggs for your own sanity

I couldn't get a third of then to close and the ones that I did manage to close took a while to get them closed and was very frustrating. I finally tossed them into recycling and bought a different brand and started over .
