WEIGHTED BALL DOES NOT COME OFF. Mold or residue of any drinks could not be washed off. Horrible design! Sure they won't leak till your kid bites the valve, and they leak everywhere.
This brand is my go to for weighted cups though i usually get the basic ones. They didnt have those I saw this thinking it was just supposed to be a cuter more aesthetically pleasing cup. Again I always bought munchkins. i get this home to wash it and realize the straw is one single piece. Not only is that a huge bacteria issue but how does one rinse the straw? Due to it being one piece seal and all when you go to rinse out the soap u either have to manually blow water through it or stretch the straws opening so the water can run through the whole straw which ik this method is going to shorten the life span of the cup but its better than mold. With the old cups since the straw broke down into multiple pieces it was very easy to get water through them to rinse, these not so much. I see bacteria being a huge flaw for this design therefore I wont use it. Luckily? not so luckily? The lids already broken after about 2 uses. My baby is 11 months old btw so definitely not rough with cups.
The cup doesn't leak and has a cute design. Easy for a 13 month old to hold. However, you can't clean the straw. It holds water/juice anything the baby has been drinking and does not allow water to flow through while cleaning. The straw pieces do not come apart. Poor design. Have stopped using after a few weeks because of this. Save your $6 and get something you can have a long time.
The amount of suction required to drink out of these cups is obscene and completely dysfunctional. As adults my husband and I have to strain to drink from them. These cups will create bad oral motor patterns in your children and the fact that they're being promoted by speech therapists is appalling to me.
I love the addition of the measurement ounce marks on the side of these cups! My son is on a liquid thickener and it needs a specific amount of ounces to be mixed in, so this makes it easier for us when we go out to eat. I like that they changed it to a ball instead of a disc. I used to have to shake the cup sometimes to flip the disc around and orient it correctly, but now the ball moves around easier and my son can drink without me having to help make sure he can get the liquid. The only downside is that they aren't 100% leakproof due to the small hole in the top so if the cups are held upside down or shaken too much it will leak a little. Additionally, if you leave the cup out, I think some pressure builds up as the inside warms and it will sometimes push liquid out of the straw. But outside of that I love the new cups!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great cup! It's leak proof, easy to clean, and perfect for helping toddler transition from bottles to regular cups. My child learned to drink from it very quickly. The quality is excellent, and its durable enough for everyone use l highly recommended
Love these for my 8. 5 month old. He likes to be independent, but trying to help him hold a bottle was just a battle of wills. He can hold these himself. They are fairly leak proof even when the lid isn't down - maybe a drop or two gets out if he's really flinging it around. The weighted straw means he can get every last bit of liquid out of the bottom. And they're pretty easy to clean, as far as baby straw cups go. They're easy to suck from (I tested) so he doesn't have to work overly hard to drink.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Munchkin any angle cup has become my son's favorite straw cup! We have taken it on road trips, play dates, shopping and anywhere in between. It is his daily cup that he reaches for. It has replaced all his other sippy cups because of the convenience of drinking from any angle. It holds a great amount of liquid. I definitely recommend!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love it! My kid picked up how to use it immediately! Love that you can close the top. Most other straw cups its too hard to get the water out, even for me an adult! This one was easy! Doesnt leak and sturdy.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's easy for my little one to hold independently, and the straw is soft and comfortable to drink from. I also appreciate the leak-resistant design- it gives me peace of mind when we take it out with us. The flip lid keeps the straw protected, and the cup is super easy to wash. A simple , practical, and well-designed cop that we reach for every day.
