This trainer cup is thoughtfully designed for babies who are still learning. My daughter can hold the two handles securely, and the weighted straw follows the liquid as she moves the cup. It has been reliable for everyday use and travel.
I love the idea of it being able to close but my baby keeps closing it down and can’t drink her water
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve used a similar cup for our 2.5 y/o and thought we’d try with our 1 y/o since he was wanting to drink out of a cup more. It’s easy to assemble. It’s a pain to clean because the straw is so tiny. I appreciate that they include the straw cleaner but make sure you put it somewhere safe because it’s easy to lose. It does work well for drinking at any angle, even upside down as long as the weight is in liquid. There are no handles on this cup but the shape was decent to grab onto. I was pretty disappointed with the leaking though. It only leaked a little out of the straw and the majority was from the lid. It was fully secured and not over tightened but still leaked. My wife got that on video. She tried to get it to stop leaking but it just keep going. Once the liquid leaks it gets stuck in the threads of the cup and lid. If they can fix the leak problem, I’d definitely recommend this cup!
it was too hard to clean the straw
The major issue I had with these is that it leaked due to pressure changes. When I our cold milk into a room temperature sippy cup, it starts leaking out the straw and makes a terrible mess. I learned this after buying 6 of these because I thought I had no other option. But now I have switched to the b box sippy cup shift has a unique two way valve to prevent leaks due to pressure changes.
i do not recommend. My mother in law diednt understand she needs to bite or squeeze to get the juice out. So she says it wont come out. i tried it and she is right. babies dont know to bite and suck they just suck in it to drink. thats not very friendly.
This was used by my second son who is 14 month old. The lead quickly started to fall and even when put back together, it started to leak more and more. Also my son was not able to drink easily in it when he has no issue to drink with a straw in his older son thermost metal one that is very solid. The plastic is also very cheap so it did not last more than 2 months for us and will definitely not buy since it is a waste of plastic and cannot even do one nor another child.
Leaks when I hold it upside down. I have bought this brand in the past and was highly satisfied. I’ve even bought this exact cup but in a different color and it worked great so I purchased another one. I tried pinching the valve and everything so I guess this one is defective.
I ordered my toddlers cup for my 2/3 year old great granddaughter. She needed a toddlers cup, not an infant cup.. she will not use the infant cup! She says “she is not a baby, she’s a big girl”. This is a great cup for an infant transitioning to a toddlers cup. However, was not a good substitution for a toddler who is already transitioned from an infant cup. This is why we have low stars!
Leaks standing up! Everything, cold or warm leaks out the top of the straw and where the lid screws on.
