I bought these cups, but now it seems they've changed; even the color is lighter, and the quality has clearly gone down. Even so, they're still very useful for my baby, and I can take them anywhere without the risk of spills. Although the quality has decreased, they're still my favorites.
This item is good for babies leaning how to use a straw. But it has to be cleaned thoroughly because it grows mold quite quickly inside the straw I am tricky place to clean.
We have bought approx 5,334,786 of these cups. It's is literally the only thing my son will drink from. The only problem is the straws are apparently a delicacy and he chews them so we go through nearly one per day. So one could wish they were more robust for the price. So if your kid is not a beaver, you'll love it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve used a similar cup for our 2.5 y/o and thought we’d try with our 1 y/o since he was wanting to drink out of a cup more. It’s easy to assemble. It’s a pain to clean because the straw is so tiny. I appreciate that they include the straw cleaner but make sure you put it somewhere safe because it’s easy to lose. It does work well for drinking at any angle, even upside down as long as the weight is in liquid. There are no handles on this cup but the shape was decent to grab onto. I was pretty disappointed with the leaking though. It only leaked a little out of the straw and the majority was from the lid. It was fully secured and not over tightened but still leaked. My wife got that on video. She tried to get it to stop leaking but it just keep going. Once the liquid leaks it gets stuck in the threads of the cup and lid. If they can fix the leak problem, I’d definitely recommend this cup!
Grandson drinks well with these, but there is no good way to clean the straws. Comes with little brush but it just pushes old liquid out. Can't tell if it really clean. Should be a better way of cleaning.
My son loves these cups. They're the only ones he'll take at the moment. My issue is that they're kind of a pain to clean so we just use them as water cups and they get cross threaded so dang bad. If they're cross threaded that leak and they're super hard to open to try again. It's just frustrating. These are the only cups I own that give me issues like this.
I love this cup. My grandson drinks out of it super well. He went from the bottle to this cup. The liquid does not come out super fast so it was not overwhelming to him. The reason for only 3 stars is because the straw is difficult to rinse and it does not dry. They provide a brush for cleaning, but then to rinse, water won't flow through the straw and I am afraid there is still soap in the straw. And then it is impossible for the straw to air dry. If you use it everyday, I guess that wouldn't be too much on an issue. But my grandson is not at my house every day and I need it to dry and not grown bacteria between his visits.
This was used by my second son who is 14 month old. The lead quickly started to fall and even when put back together, it started to leak more and more. Also my son was not able to drink easily in it when he has no issue to drink with a straw in his older son thermost metal one that is very solid. The plastic is also very cheap so it did not last more than 2 months for us and will definitely not buy since it is a waste of plastic and cannot even do one nor another child.
I wish I hadn't bought this. It leaks worse than any bottle I've ever seen. I don't know how they're able to market it as spill/leak proof because that's literally all this bottle does. They must've not tested this bottle at all for leakage. I spend all day cleaning up after it and it wastes pretty much anything I put in it. Do not get this. I got the Dr. Browns straw cup because this one was such a disaster and honestly it's not great either, still leaks a lot, but it's better than this one. This photo is after I mopped as much as I could with a dishrag that was soaking.
This bottle is horrible. It leaks very easily, even when properly assembled. The bottle can pull liquid up through the straw and cause spills. I recommend avoiding this and choosing a better made option.
