I purchased this for my toddler, but it's too large and way too heavy to carry in a little backpack, but I can imagine it working well in elementary or junior high school. The stainless steel fork and spoon, however, are in daily rotation at meal times. I wouldn't hesitate to buy this for an older kid. The whole thing fits in the dishwasher, and isn't too fiddly for a quick sink wash. The little handle is a nice touch for avoiding sad spills. I only wish the top opened 270 degrees, so I could more easily fit it in the dishwasher's top rack. (It takes up a lot of space up there.) This bento kit is perfect for older kids, but I would hold off for a few years if your kid is still toddling.

I love this lunch box it has a handle many components utensils very heavy duty the components are large he can have a balanced lunch that will fill him up until he gets home and the fact that I do not have to buy a lunch bag to put it in is a big plus for me this is a must buy for k-6 grade he had the orange one last year the components is much smaller

I have been looking for the perfect lunchbox to get my 3 year old toddler and this is it ! I love the little dividers in the lunchbox to separate all the food from each other, the little stainless steel silverware that pop into the silicone top and the colors! I loved packing my sons lunches in here because I can fill it with different foods and not have to worry about putting it all into bags or separate containers in a lunch box. It's easy to wash , and my kid loves it ! I received this product free in exchange for my honest feedback

Love it! My 2 year old just turned three and he is having a little trouble opening the latch but other than that I cant wait for him to use it once he start school. Its has weight to it. But he can carry it!

Bought this for my daughter. This is the 3rd/4th lunchbox that we have purchased. (Bought these for my son when he started school. ) They hold up well.

Extremely heavy especially when considering it's meant for a child to use. It is also hard to open and came with black marks all over it. It's similar to bentgo boxes size wise, but the compartments are much better than bentgo. Bentgo wastes so much space with how thick the plastic is between each compartment whereas this one all of the dividing plastic is narrow leaving more room to actually use. The silverware holders are convenient.

I ordered this for my 4 year old daughter to pack her school lunches. While I like a lot of the features of this bento lunchbox I do wish I spent a bit more money for a different and better brand. This one is lacking a lot of what I would consider important features for a lunch box meant for a young child. I chose this brand after having many positive experiences with Munchkin brand products in the past (not bento/lunchboxes). The price and past experiences with this brand influenced me most in this purchase. My daughter and I really love the number and size of compartments; she's always excited to help choose what elements of her meal she wants to fill it. It is definitely a sturdy and well made bento box and we love that it comes with the stainless steel utensils. Unfortunately it does not work well for us because it is on the heavier and larger side. She complains about having to carry it sometimes and it is hard to fit in her lunch bag when also packing her water bottle and ice packs. It is not completely leakproof (i did not take off a star for this as it is NOT advertised as leakproof) but I thicker substances like yogurt did not leak through in our experience. Sometimes the latch on ours sticks and is difficult for my daughter to open. Overall I wish I had spent a few more dollars on a different brand. I would not recommend this product nor do I think it is well made for the young children it is marketed to.
