Best deal i have found for these bottles. Got 6 bottles for the price of 3 everywhere else and they shipped quickly. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Wow! I was seriously impressed by how much this bottle felt like the real deal. The way the nipple flexed and stretched made it an easier transition from breastfeeding. The bottle itself was a comfortable hold and easy to clean. I love that it has the valve on the bottom to keep air out of baby's tummy! This size is perfect for my baby who eats 8 oz at a time. It also is so easy to hold my baby can do it himself . I received this product as a gift in exchange for my honest review
I really liked this bottle . Unlike other bottles, the nipple never collapses because of the bottom release valve. My favorite part is the shape of the nipple. It is more anatomically shaped, so my baby adapted to it instantaneously. (Other bottles we have tried that had a small nipple on it, he refused.) I like the accordion style because it allows him turn his head and look around a bit while drinking (just like he does when nursing) without the nipple slipping out of his mouth or him sucking in air. The only thing I wish was a little different was if the release valve didn’t stick up inside the bottle. We use a mini whisk to mix the formula so there are less air bubbles. It’s harder to use the whisk with the value inside the bottle.
I LOVE these bottles! As a big proponent of breastfeeding, I am so glad to have a bottle option that mimics the breast. The way the nipple works on these bottles allows the baby to control the flow of the milk, which is more like breastfeeding. I also really like how the bottle nipples stretch and move. When I have to pump and feed the baby with a bottle, I don't want it to adversely affect the progress I've made with breastfeeding, so I am really pleased with these bottles.
Great bottles! I received these as a sample to write a review. These are perfect for the breastfeeding baby who also uses bottles. The nipples flex at the base-accordion style which is great for getting those last few drops without air. So much less complicated than other anti gas bottles. Only 4 pieces including the nipple! Easy to clean too. My baby loved them!
My son is almost 6 months old and has been exclusively breastfed, only receiving a bottle a few times. We tried the Munchkin LATCH bottle with him and he did really well with it! At first he tried to chew on it but once he realized there was milk involved he started sucking and making "mmm-mmm" noises. I have a very forceful letdown and so he got frustrated after a short time with the size 1 nipple that comes with the bottle but after I switched to the size 2 and he did much better. He was able to easily hold the 4 oz. bottle due to the contoured shape but the 8 oz. is much bigger and harder for him to grasp at this stage. I previously used bottles with the bottom valve with my older children and liked how it seemed to reduce gas so am happy to see a more simple version in the LATCH bottles. (I received this product in exchange for my review and honest opinion.)
These are just like the 4 ounce bottles, only twice as big. This is perfect for growing babies who might need more than 4 ounces per feeding. Even though I mostly breastfeed my daughter, I like to have some decent bottles for her to use if I leave her with my husband or a sitter. These are great! The real star is the nipple – the bottom has a sort of accordion shape, so it stretches and feels more natural for her. I have packed these in her diaper bag and have had no issues with leaks or spills, even if they tip over. We haven’t had any issues with colic, so I can’t say if it helps with that, although she doesn’t seem to have an upset stomach after drinking from these like she has had with some other bottles. The only thing I don’t love is the valve in the bottom – it seems like one more thing for me to take out and clean. Still, that’s one small complaint for an otherwise great product.
Received them to trial. Bottle works fine but there is a learning curve with them. Need a special brush to clean them. Can't use them in a bottle warmer or the anti-colic valve gets compromised. Nipple collapses unless you read instructions and set bottle up correctly to let air out before feeding baby. Overall, good if you don't have anti-colic bottles but if you do, I wouldn't bother. Pivoting nipple is good for a wiggly baby.
It is a great product and seems to be very smooth for your little one. I purchased this bottle to transfer my child from breastfeeding to bottle but unfortunately, she did not take it. I was super hopeful and excited once I purchased this product but got disappointed later on. Looking for some support or ideas. Thank you.
I thought I'd love these bottles after researching SO many bottles. However, the nipples collapse way too often and the nipple inverts, pushes up into itself. I have to interrupt feeding way to often. After a week or two of using them, I notice the nipple hole gets clogged. I have to pierce it to make it work. I hate that I wasted that money. I'm going with Mam bottles. They work the best.
