Munchkin® Mist™ Baby and Infant Wipe Warmer, White

Wow! What an improvement! We just had our FOURTH baby and this has meant trying several wipe warmers over the years (lest the baby scream when a cold wipe surprised them) but after the first couple of months my husband and I always got annoyed by having to add water to the wipes every time we would go to use them and they were dried out. So, it was with pretty big reluctance that we tried this wipe warmer. To our amazement, the wipes actually stay moist! And, truth be told, these warm (and moist) wipes are great for the times when the kiddos poop and we don't get to it in time and it has a chance to dry on. I'd like to pretend that that never happens to us, but it does, and the wipes actually come out BETTER than the wipes straight out of the package in this case. We just give push the button one or twice before opening the top and the added wetness helps that dried on poop wipe right off! So, what to do with your old wipe warmer? We keep an extra outfit/ sleeper in ours and put it on the baby when he gets out of the bath. It's a great way to warm him up after I cover him in lotion and his skin starts to cool down. And since baths seem to be needed at random times, we just keep a spare outfit in the old warmer, at the ready, all the time. We jokingly refer to it as a part of our "baby spa" collection.

We received this Munchkin wipes warmer as a gift from the company, and I was so excited! I am on baby two and we've never used a warmer before. It was quick and easy to set-up and was ready to use quickly. My baby LOVES diaper changes now that her wipes are not chilly, and the mister is a great feature if you need extra wetness. We cloth diaper and primarily use cloth wipes, so in addition to trying it out with regular (disposable) wipes, I also used it with cloth wipes. I fold them so they pop-up like traditional wipes and it was so nice to have them damp and warm for my use- especially with the mister! It is such a great feature to have. While I never thought we needed a wipes warmer before, it is something that I wouldn't go without now that I've tried it. It's great!

Love it! I have two children, one is 3 years old and the other is 6 months old. I never bought a wipe warmer with the first because it seemed so superfluous. I got one with baby #2 and I still am not sure it is a necessity, but I will say that is a great luxury! Liken it to the ultrasound gel that they use on your belly during pregnancy. Aren't you glad that they warm that up for you?? Same thing here. I feel like it is much more pleasant for my daughter to have wipes that are warm. I think this is especially important in the winter months when the house and changing surface are already chilly. It is also great for when I use wipes to wipe faces and hands. The other really nice thing about this product is that it keeps the wipes moist. If you have babies / kids, you KNOW how much easier moist wipes are for cleaning messy diapers!

We received this item as a sample product. Having a new baby and with older children it has been a really nice accessory to the baby room. It of course has pros and cons. 1. It requires an outlet 2. The top is slightly hard to open. however on the positive side It does its job. The mist will give the wipes some moisture and they are warm to use. There is a night light that is the perfect brightness for the room. Its not too big and takes up the same amount of space as a regular wipes container. Its a great use for the cool nights that we have experienced. Its a great product.

I so wanted to love this and in a lot of ways, I do. I just wish it were a little bit refined, which is why I'm giving it one less star. I will say, it's been really handy for our family. I received it as a gift and while a wipe warmer seemed like a gimmick, I ended up with a newborn that would have a complete meltdown the second his bottom hit air!! Enter the wipe warmer. I'd heard these things were a waste of money because they dried out wipes and turned them a weird yellow color. Not so the mist warmer from Munchkin. It's such a brilliant idea and it does work really nicely. It has some great features like the power cord that separates so when your darling child kicks the wipe warmer off the changing table or you get a stuck wipe in the opening, it won't get ripped out of the wall. It also makes it portable, which is really handy. The mister works great. My wipes have come out nicely warm, my son and his bottom are happy and they're still damp with no dried out patches or weird colors so it definitely works. However, the latch on mine doesn't always want to snap back in place so it pops back open again. The plastic is a bit too soft I have to make a point of popping it back and checking it's latched. That sounds like a small thing but when it's 3am, you have a fussy baby that you're changing in the dark because you don't want to wake him properly and you have to mess with a latch that won't stick, it gets old. If you don't bother to check, your wipes dry out, which defeats the object. I also love the misting function and it does keep wipes moist but it also dilutes the cleaning product on the wipes. I use the Pampers Sensitive wipes and I like them because the cleaning product moisturizes while you're wiping so they drift across baby's bottom. This warmer takes some of the product off and warms the wipes to the point that they get soft and scratchy (I guess they're made with plastic so it stretches). The wipes just seem to lose their integrity. This may be different with a more paper-based wipe like Huggies wipes. All in all, it's been great and I use this thing every day. It's definitely better than I had expected and I can't imagine changing my little fuss-pot in the middle of the night without it. Seriously. He HATES cold changes. I just wasn't as floored by it overall as I had hoped. Munchkin products are usually really well developed and I felt the latch issues let it down. If you need a wipe warmer though, it's definitely a must-have.

So, with baby #1 we didn't have a wipe warmer and actually thought it was far from a necessity. It seemed like something many first time parents may have gotten suckered into so we steered clear of anything that was too 'spendy' and unnecessary. Well, fast forward to now where we are here with baby #2... We received this warmer and currently have it fully stocked and ready to go on the bookcase in our living room (we found out with baby #1 that the changing table wouldn't get much use because we change baby where we play the most... In the family room). I love the warmer and now internally apologize to my firstborn for not having it a few years ago. Munchkin considered both the disposable and cloth diapering/wipe using families when designing this warmer. We use cloth wipes and I was pleasantly surprised that the instructions for use even include notes and directions if cloth wipes are to be used. I believe we got about 24-28 cloth wipes to fit in the internal compartment which was pretty impressive. Although the instructions suggested to open the main compartment lid every time for cloth wipes, I overlapped the wipes before inserting them in the warmer and was able to use them as pop-ups. Being able to use pre-moistened warm cloth wipes on baby felt luxurious. Big poops were a snap to clean up. The warmer even has a handy misting feature for those that would use disposable wipes that tend to get a bit dried out now and then. With a press of a button the mister delivers just enough moisture to allow the wipe to continue to be functional and glide across baby's soft bum and without leaving the bum wet with added moisture. I appreciate the subtle design as it doesn't take up too much space nor does it appear to be out of place in our living room. In fact, it almost resembles a CD player so guests might never even notice until we pop it open and grab a wipe for boogery faces and stinky bums. I would highly recommend this for expecting parents to add to their registries! I would if I had it all to do over again!

I hated waking up my baby with cold wipeso so I got this. It worked well at first but then my wipes weren't getting as warm and yet they seemed dryer, adding some water at the bottom helped. My baby can go longer at night without a diaper change and has less trouble getting back to sleep so it just doesn't feel needed anymore. I would still be using it if I didn't have to refill it so much.

I had an original Munchkin's Wipe Warmer. Almost everytime I went to get a wipe the top one or two were dried out. It was a little aggravating. Then I was given this "mist" one as a gift. The concept is great and it does work. No more dried out wipes. However, it doesn't hold as many wipes so you have to add wipes more often. Unfortunately, you can't open it (to add wipes) with one hand. It has a much tighter closure. I'm sure that helps keep everything moist inside but when you're in the middle of a poopy diaper and you need to open the top it's problematic. Even with these issues I've kept using it because I did not have dried out wipes. Then after about 3 months the top started to pop open on its own. I thought I had just left it open the first time this happened. Then my husband noticed it too. So, again I had a dried out wipe on top. I've had it so long now I can't exchange it. I think it may just be faulty. Regardless, I've gone back to my original warmer. And I've learned if you tuck the top wipe back inside the hole it doesn't dry out. I'm a huge Munchkin fan and have lots of their products. I'm only giving three stars based on my use. This is a new product and I'm sure Munchkin will make adjustments based on reviews like mine to make the product even better.

After a while wipes dry up from the heat and when pump is filled with water it sprays everytime the lid close making wipes smell different from having too much water at the bottom. Had to stop use because every time a new pack of wipes are put in they dry up in 3 days. It doesn’t come with a gift card neither

Was very hard to open the top to add wipes. Also difficult to add water. After 3 months it started to leak when I added water to the reservoir. There was no option to return item:(
