A Very Pleasant Surprise
I bought this series without ever having heard of it because it sounded interesting and was available at a good price. It was a bargain. It's a fun `mystery` where turn of the century developments become the keys to the solution. A delightful cast matches the historical appeal. Highly recommended.

I fell in love with the series while on holiday in Canada. It's only here once a week on Sunday, so I'm not even certain what season I'm watching. Can't wait for the DVD's to come so I can start from the beginning and move forward with the entire series historically.

Surprisingly good
I discovered this series via Youtube on my iPad last summer while traveling in France. It seemed enjoyable enough, but I didn't think about buying it until Acorn offered the sale price. I'm glad I did. Watching the series from the start, it's wonderful to follow the character development and on-going storylines. I've since purchased season 2 and am completely heartbroken for Murdoch and the doctor. I'm going to order season 3.

Murdock Mysteries/ Season One
I Love this mystery! Clever and brilliant. This is one of the best. I plan on buying all the Dvd's available, even though I have seen the first three or four seasons on Netflix, twice. Murdock is handsome and way too sexy.
