I have an uneven yard so the larger rear wheels make mowing easier. Starts every time and cuts well.
Works great. Highly maneuverable. Started on first pull. Metal deck. Simple yet sturdy. Much better than modern Craftsman and Husqvarna that often use plastic front and rear ends.
Great mower. If it has a Briggs
This is a great mower! I decided in this mower because it meets my minimum requirements. I have just over 1 acre of land and some of it is hilly. Needless to say it fired up first pull! I had to mow knee high grass and it plowed through mist all if it. When it did bog down and stall it was because I hit wet grass and the chute was getting clogged. It does a great job for what you pay for. If you have a fast growing lawn and want a good workout then this is the best. No need for a gym memnership. :-) FYI, the pic is the lawn almost finished.
Bought 4 of these mowers at the end of the season and paid $50 each and they were brand new in the box. Not bad for $200 ! Seems just as good as the Husky 140 cc mower my father got for $195 at Tractor supply. I have rural property in upstate NY and sometimes I run over rocks and the shaft gets bent. You can never have enough mowers in a rural area.
I have nevwr had any problems with this brand, I brough this Murray 21in. Briggs and Stratton brand new 2 months ago, It should of been a sign with I was missing 2 bolts for the handle, so far I have had to have the gasket reclued 2 times! im very unhappy and wish I could return!
The main carriage is way too low and too close to the ground. Even when I adjusted the wheels to the highest setting it didn't seem to do the trick. When I tried to mow over a slightly thicker patch of grass I had to tilt the mower up to get over it. If you have a small property and perfect grass without any weeds then this might be okay other wise I wouldn't purchase it. Gave it back to store for a refund.
We have used this mower less than 10 times and it already wont start. When we pull string it's like its not attached.
Was great last summer, won't start this spring. This mower “replaced” one I'd had for over 20 years. Apparently things just aren't made to last any more. Very disappointing!!
This thing didn't last 30min. I was mowing and the engine quit and then when I tried it nothing. Engine sized up. I wouldn't buy this again
